  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Color Poll #1

Okay I have been thinking about colors. When you say Mazda Red everyone can see that red in their head. Porsche Miami Blue is the same for me. We need a color for the new Scout that is iconic and so unique when you say Scout _______ everyone can see that color in their head. So it’s not just...

    Illinois Dealer Fight

The other issue I never realized living in California is it takes longer to get a car living in the middle of the country. They will be all over the place on the east and west coast. Living in Illinois now I see how long it takes if the car has to come through a port. By the time the cars...

    Illinois Dealer Fight

Honestly is ridiculous. My son’s car was like that. Very difficult to get and when I finally found one they wanted $10,000 over on a $36,000 car. It was his first new car purchase and we were co-signing. They said that I immediately stood up. Absolutely not. They are not taking advantage...

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Oh that’s a good idea. They should have a Cars and Coffee package so to speak that people can get so when they start taking their new cars to all These car meet ups they have stickers with info and the SM website. And they could use it in conjunction with a referral program. So when someone...

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

I went camping once with my Boy Scout son at a Boy Scout camp. So had a pool and bathrooms and such. By the third day I was so done with camp food I had Dominos delivered to the parking lot. I went around to all the parents and by the time I was done I ordered $200 worth of pizza. To say I...

Flat Tow capability to beat Jeep

Hi. I don’t tow and honestly know nothing about it but let’s see if we can get some sort of an answer. @Jamie@ScoutMotors do we have an answer as to whether the Scout will be able to be flat towed like a Jeep? Anyone else have any answers on this? I know I have seen some other posts about...
