Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim.     How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Afaik, both of these are already "things" that we know. The Spare tire carrier on the traveler is supposed to be removeable/optional, and the upper glass of the liftgate is shown to swing up already.

    The frunk is possibly one of the things I"m most excited about about the Scouts. Now what I'd love is for there to be some sort of ventilation in there, so when I pack it full of sweaty mountain biking gear, it doesn't turn into a "funk frunk".

    We have the length already. The dimensions on their site show the length of traveler without spare tire carrier. It hasn't been updated to show the roof rack height though.

    This one is a known thing. They are supporting it. They've mentioned it here on the forums, I believe its on their FAQ on their website, and the Apple Carplay icon was in their prototype dashboard in all the CES 2025 videos. So pretty sure this one is happening at least.

    As a side note, those "crappy plastic bags", aren't as ubiquitous as they used to be. We get the heavy duty ones that you have to pay for, and that are supposed to be reuseable, not the thin flimsy ones that existed for the last forever.
