  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Do the current systems with touchscreens let you customize where the apps are? So we can decide what’s most important to us to be able to get to quickly?

    October 24th Reveal Info Dump!

I love it - it reminds me of the camper we had when I was a kid. It was one of the ones that fit in the bed of the pickup and the table folded down and the mattress went on top of it at night for bed space.

    Decoding Reservation Numbers

I'm so sad I missed out on the 1st year group. I heard about the Scouts and had been telling everyone and was super excited about it way before I found this group. If I had seen the site I'd have been right here with you guys! It has been a wonderful group to hang around with

That’s what I was thinking about the headlights! Especially if they were rotated once so that the long part went up and down like the I

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

I’m not quite at this level of disappointed in the design but I do wish it had more retro in it. But I get that there had to be some amount of smoothing for efficiency’s sake. It is going to grow on me though, I can tell. It couldn’t be exactly the same and this is still very good

My Flex is 76” wide without mirrors and it’s a pain to find places to park sometimes already. This could be interesting.

My concern is with parking it. From what I looked up, standard parking spaces are 96-108” wide. That leaves no room to open the door and get out!

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

Is the Traveler really going to be 92" wide? That is 15" wider than my flex and, from what I looked up, only 4-16" smaller than standard parking spaces. I am not huge but I don't think I can open the door and get out in that little space. Have to use the off-road function to find a place to park!
