    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Actual question not snark, why do you want to be able to turn the headlights off? I see (barely) so many people who have either decided they don’t need their lights yet or have forgotten they aren’t on when they would actually be helpful for others to see them, even if it isn’t helping them...

    It’s too bad the tire rack can’t go up or down with the upper and lower tailgates. Up would be more out of the way when you’re putting stuff in or out or when you’re parked tight. Down could be used as a platform to extend the tailgate and make a big table out of it. I have no idea if any of...

    Yeah I’m going to be almost all on road (in my Scoot). My dad and his siblings sold my grandfather’s land this past summer and that was the only place I ever really went off road and even that was pretty mild.     AC Vent Locations

    My current car has them and it was great for keeping the kids from fighting over the temperature as much. One kid could have one vent blow on them and the other could point the other away from them.

    I have a 2010 Ford Flex with almost 280k miles on it. My plan for the next few years is to cross my fingers hard.

    Dog Ramp

    I already have to help my Samoyed in my car as is and it's not that tall (he just doesn't want to make the effort especially when we are leaving the park). A ramp would give him less of an excuse to look at me with doggy eyes saying 'but it is so hard...'

    I hope they put some sort of sides on the lower storage (easy to push out of the way so you can put things in) so that when the car is bouncing around, nothing bounces under the pedals

    Wish I could sleep till 2027!

    Sales starting in 2027 worries me a little. My car has 270k miles on it so I'm not sure when it will get to the point where it isn't a good financial idea to fix it anymore. I don't want to get a car for a year or so in-between if I can avoid it. Fingers crossed!
