  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I’ve shot a bow 6 times in my life. She tried it at a Disney resort at age 9. Loved it. Came home and 3 weeks after my wife found a coupon for a discovery class at Lancaster Archery that ironically we didn’t know existed nor new was one of the premier facilities in the country and 11 years later...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I’ve had a tournament concept for 4 years and have spoken with Jamie about it at length. Having it on their property and experiencing Scouts on top of it would make my concept that much better. The eventual full scale idea is a non human hunger games type event with different scenarios. Archery...

    Welcome and Introductions!

Welcome to the forum. As others have said, follow along with Jamie and we always say take advantage of the search button as it will provide oodles of background info to probably anything you can think of. But eventually you’ll realize you have a new, genius idea that nobody has thought of in...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I’m very sorry M. My initial faux pa was intended just for @cyure. My apologies to you all even though I know the two of you knew I was joking. 😀

    Scouts with Handicapped Adaptability

I wonder if roof rack is sturdy enough to add a swing arm and motor on roof with a lift sling? Transfer may or may not be easier but would pretty cool to have a functional need device mounted on rack with swing out arm. Could be an opportunity on both sides. I’ve installed tracks and slings in...

    Scouts with Handicapped Adaptability

How is the vertical movement on this system? Knowing the Scout has 12” clearance does that extra few inches affect the systems movement? Would be smart on SM and Braun to start working on both ends as I think the vertical movement will need to be addressed on both sides. I deal with...

    Tire carrier size

As I understood when we talked at reveal the carrier will hold 33/35 as is. Then there was talk of an adjustment item-mechanical or possible extending add-on spacer that will handle 37’s but it was still being determined. The designer said they love the carrier “basket” and want it to be...

    Keep "International" name plate

Maybe @Jamie@ScoutMotors can chime in but as I understand it VWAG doesn’t own International name-they own Scout name. I don’t think they can legally use any reference or logo or images associated with international. I may be wrong but I’m sure that was discussed early on or I read it somewhere
