  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Entry Model Specs, Premium Model Price?

Having seen them in person they were definitely upgraded. Upgraded suspension, leather interiors and the glass/cabana roofs will surely be upgrades. Based on what I saw and some of us discussed I’d assume $75K or more for what was shown as options go

    Questions about the Harvester

A new thee Ad was just started today with this exact question. You may want to take a look 😀

Flat Tow capability to beat Jeep

This may partly be due to the size of the Scouts. It’s a very large vehicle to tow. It just might not be a priority for Scout at this time. Hard to say.

    Colors

Welcome. Happy to have another new scout fan. I’d encourage you to also share your post on the color poll thread if you haven’t seen it. Quite a few variations of mint green show up there so more eye candy to see. Again-welcome aboard!

All EV/BEV needs its own name!

I’ll think of more but what about “joule”. Play on words!

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

If you order anything-they throw some in for free but no official stickers yet. I will say (without sounding braggy) the handful of us that went to the reveal in October got some cool one off “script font” Scout stickers but I have mine stashed away. I wish they do some new stickers and even a...

Glad you posted this. I’ve been looking at a new laptop backpack style bag and this may just solve it

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

That’s a good point. Curious if switch over means the line can do 3 BEV, then 2 harvesters, etc…. Or more like M,T and F they run harvesters and W, R they run BEV’s. Curious how flexible it really will be

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Currently I’m getting just over 500 miles on the Accord hybrid (600 in summer) on a 12 gallon tank. At $3.40-ish/gallon I’m at roughly $42-45/fill up so on a road trip I’ll actually spend more than current but assuming charge at home will be cheaper. So for me I can claim convenience and earth...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

So not too bad. Trying to get used to what it will cost to “fill up” when doing long road trips

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Can you saddle pack it on the rear driver’s side window. That’s all but useless anyway 🤣

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

This will be huge. I’ve said before several chains need to do this so hoping now that Walmart has announced, maybe others will follow. Still think McD’s or Chick fil an and Cracker Barrel could saturate more of the east coast. Maybe a few mid sized chains or even tractor supply though generally...

Is $.42/kwh comparable to super chargers, etc? I have no idea. Seems a touch high? Should have watched longer-they showed comparable chargers
