  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Camper Shell

Welcome to the forum. The Terra rear window will raise and lower-no slider but probably better as up and down

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Exactly. And the little bit of cost SM eats as part of marketing the brand

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Yeah. We’ve done BMW delivery and BMW teen driving. I considered Bronco but travel and hotel and two of us would be a $1200 weekend. Holding out for Scout to include it so then it’s only hotel cost. Traveling for delivery anyway so I don’t count that 🤣

All EV/BEV needs its own name!

Yeah. But just using Edison maybe? The more I’ve pondered I’m not sure it needs naming beyond Traveler. It’s pure-like electricity

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Sure-throw a couple of those in too. I’m sure SM can also offer off-road classes for non scout owners too. Certainly a marketing/sales opportunity

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Yeah-kind of a middle ground. Need overnight experience but not too rustic. Hotel dwellers would probably be willing to try it for a night
  8. J Alynn

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

We never made it to the Bronco experience before we got rid of the Bronco. Was always bummed about that

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Or build some tree house style lodging that hovers over the off road course. Star Wars fans could pretend they are Ewoks for a night 🤣

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

With the delivery experience and potential off-road course SM should offer an added day (buyer pays extra) then offer like 6-8 yurts as overnight lodging. Have an evening campfire and open grill dinner (bring the guy from the reveal-his food was great and it was all inspired for grill cooking...

    Scout Color Poll #1

I’ve seen a few Acuras in my area in Tiger Eye Pearl. Keep wondering how it might get look on a Scout.

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

Ordered the backpack tonight. Figure it will be my laptop bag and also ordered a patch which I’ll probably put on the backpack. Can’t wait for it to arrive

Entry Model Specs, Premium Model Price?

Agree with @THil08 three packages are fine so long as each one can be upgraded somewhat a la cart to create tiers within those three levels. I’d like a mix of off-road/luxury-something akin to the Lexus GX

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

I got mine around 4:02 pm EST if that helps your search

All EV/BEV needs its own name!

    Edison wouldn’t be bad

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

But in that scenario it might as well be an ICE. I think there will have to be times where you have to stop and charge as well as gas and go. At this time it’s ok a guessing game anyway until SM tells everyone otherwise

    SCOUT TRAVELER FAQ

First off-welcome to the forum. Glad to have you. As it stands SM has said you can change your model when official reservations starts. That said I wouldn’t change anything now as I suppose you could drop in the line queue even though we don’t really know orders but if you just reserved you have...
