  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Haha, great comment! 🙂 And y'all really do make a good point about reliability & responsiveness. When you're out there on the trail overlanding together, the last thing you'd want is for the software to start stuttering or worse, give out on you! I'm feeling optimistic though and looking...

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Haha, all good! No worries about derailing here. Granted I'm re-reading the rules to the "suggestion box" now and feeling personally guilty about not really following the guidelines for keeping the subject line narrowed to one clear request. But, what can I say? I'm new, haha. 😅 But, good...

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Oh this is great! Appreciate you linking me to it. I might squash my thread in favor of that one and share my ideas there. Edit: well, maybe I'll leave it up for a little in case others chime in with more related threads.

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

Hearing about the Scout Community UX™ software definitely stirred some excitement inside me... I believe during the presentation they just highlighted a couple things like that the passenger had their own volume dial + easy screen access, but I'm kinda hoping there's something more to this...

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

Y'all hit it outta the park! Seeing the initial designs ahead of the recent reveal, I was excited, but I had no idea just how much I'd like the looks of these vehicles. They are seriously cool! And thankfully, they seem to deliver on all fronts — fantastic offroading capabilities, smart...

    Where are EV chargers needed

As for where more EV chargers are needed, you got me wondering where we can find this data and I landed on a pretty cool resource here at the Alternative Fuels Data Center: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity-locations#/find/nearest?fuel=ELEC It's a map of the US that shows where...

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

Lovin’ that interior shot of the Traveler with the cabana top opened up and the light pouring in through the treetops. Gets me hyped for off-roading in the forest! Also really digging those barn shots with the Terra. Great pics all around! 🙌

    Basic or All Decked Out?

Oh right on, good to know! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, but won't lose sleep over it. And agreed... so long as they can keep the two-tone look I'll be a happy camper. Also, appreciate your response to my earlier comment. And I can totally see what ya mean about the interior now that ya...

    Basic or All Decked Out?

So, looking at the two interiors we've seen — the one for the Traveler and the other for the Terra — I'm curious how many of the interior features will crossover between the two and how they'll all be priced. I'm thinking that the tan leather seats in the Traveler might be the more expensive...

    Basic or All Decked Out?

Haha! I feel ya on this. I think that's where I'm at too. I'd like to have some of the extra luxuries as long as I can afford'em, but to save my wallet I'm probably going to slide more in the basic direction. 😅 And if the Traveler we saw on stage is the basic version, that's certainly luxurious...
