  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    240V Outlet on Traveller

I completely agree! These would be amazing features. I hope you and yours are all safe and warm. That was a nasty storm.

what's this in bed of Terra

Agreed. I was running off of the assumption that it was printed due to being a concept.

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

From what I can see in pictures I think I agree. The plaid effect is awesome though, never knew I’d love something like that.

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

I haven’t seen them in person of course, but based on all of the video and pictures I’ve scoured I basically have the same thoughts as you and liked the darker interior a touch more. Good point about exterior color as that could change my opinion on the interior color choice. Edit: wait…no, I...

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

That sounds like a color that would look great in person! Looks pretty sharp in the other picture you added above. Which one did you like better color-wise?

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

Lukewarm oatmeal! 🤣 Thanks a lot for painting that mental picture for me. Yes I have to agree the it’s probably just the coloring in that specific picture that gives me the oatmeal gags. Makes me think of my Grandma’s old Town Car for some reason.

    Approximate Charge Time

I agree the Harvester could end up offering pieces of both worlds all at the same time to make for a great package. I’m keeping my eye on the Ramcharger release for sure as I see similarities. Just like Logan, my family and I take frequent trips throughout the rural and sometimes remote parts...

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

I don’t dislike it at all and really have no complaints at this point. For some reason though, the picture in the first post here just doesn’t really scream “tough and rugged SUV/pickup” if I’m honest. It could just be that picture though because I didn’t dislike it during the reveal.

    Approximate Charge Time

Yep, I agree it’s probably a special problem. Fingers crossed that the Harvester will make it a possibility! 😃

    Approximate Charge Time

I agree that most people stop for more time than they realize. With that said, we are often trying to squeeze 10 or more solid hours of driving (does not include any time for stops) into a single day. Therefore, it is not uncommon for us to get to a gas station and have everyone hop out - I...

    Patch panels

I hear ya. These days Jeep needs to get their act together.

    Patch panels

I really like this. I’ve been wondering how to do something like this in my Jeep.

Blind Spot Turn Signal Camera Displayed in Instrument Cluster

Agreed. I currently have this feature and find it useful.

what's this in bed of Terra

I agree that’s what it is. All of those rack prototypes looked to be 3D printed. They seem like they’d be pretty handy and versatile.

Position charge port BEHIND the power outlets

🤣 I’m still not convinced. Although I guess I’m holding out hope that the Harvester will help with towing and avoid constant charging stops.

Sounds like a fun joint to me!!

    Approximate Charge Time

…but with that said, I’m very skeptical of any Electify America stations. They need to do better. So if Scout was to use the EA stations for something like this, they need to seriously step up their game.

    Approximate Charge Time

You know it might sound silly on the surface, but I actually like this. Crazy ideas like this can make for such a fun and unique vehicle experience that it would definitely enhance the user experience as well as brand loyalty - both of which are incredibly important, especially with a new...

    Approximate Charge Time

I hear what you’re saying and I agree, but I think there are a lot of folks guessing it will be a lot closer to 40 minutes for a full charge rather than 20 minutes. Too many variables at this point to know though. Depending how the Harvester ends up functioning and whether or not “gas and go”...
