  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

VW, Audi dealers file suit in Florida to block Scout Motors’ direct sales to state consumers

$250 doc fee is a bargain these days in MA. Many dealers are charging $500 - $700+ doc fees. And they wonder why they have such a bad reputation and people don't like them!🤔

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

I guess there's no good way to coordinate this because it will be based on when reservations were received, but I was thinking it might be fun if a group of us from the same region could do a group trip down to pick up our new Scouts. In my case, it would be the Northeast region. We could then...

Porsche And Audi Plan US Production To Avoid Tariffs, Audi May Get Spinoff Scout SUV: Codenamed - Hardcore

I had an Eagle SX/4 for a while. At one point, I got the crazy idea of putting it on a Scout II frame and making a serious off road rig. Did some preliminary research, but never got around to actually moving forward with the project.

    Any Detroit Auto show presence?

I mentioned this in another thread as well. Putting in a plug for the New York International Auto Show. Industry Days: April 16-17 Public Days: April 18-27 Or, maybe it's a year to early? Next year would be the auto show circuit?

Scoutsie said: rusted, lost the ability to safely keep the doors closed while in motion Yup, that about sums them up! My maroon 76 Scout II driver's door got so bad I had a bungee cord holding it shut for a while. Went to the local junkyard and bought a door off a blue one they had that...

    33 Months of EV driving...

Thank you! This is super informative and helpful for those of us contemplating making the switch to EV. In my case, my first one will be the Scout Terra full EV I have reserved. Here in MA , and I think the Northeast in general, charging infrastructure is pretty good so I don't anticipate any...
