  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Always on Highbeams

Welcome to the community! I already have this type of adaptive lighting on my Rivian and I love it. Look up some videos on adaptive headlights on YT and you'll see all the cool features they have. One of my favorite features is how my lights keep illuminating both sides of the roads whether...

    NC Charlotte Harvester event photos

@J Alynn thanks for all the photos and story telling for all of us who couldn't attend. I bet it was so awesome to see all the concepts in one place. One thing I found really interesting was the difference in roof racks. I really like how the Terra roof rack is concave to hold gear more...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

The event really did look amazing and while I'm sad I wasn't able to go, I'm happy knowing that when I did see them they were at eye level so I could easily see into them as well as touch them if we wanted, instead of them being on a pedestal. But also looking at the Scout IG there appeared to...

    Rivian R2 Experiences

You did the GWT on street tires?! You're brave Space, did y'all air down any? The pictures look fantastic and I hope Rivian see's them because you will definitely make the monthly newsletter. Glad to see you are enjoying the R2 I would absolutely say you are the right owner for one. I Look...

    NC Charlotte Harvester event photos

So many questions. I really like the bench seat but with the arm rest down it looks very similar to my Rivian mostly because of the clam shell opening but also the lower floor space is similar. Do you lose the wireless charger with this option? Is that the key fob in the top left just above the...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

This is another thing I'm having FOMO about is what fun little Scout goodies you're going to get

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I live in GA and we had an exceedingly hot summer this year and I'm 6'2, so either my hair is thinning already lol or it got really dang hot this summer and I could feel it. I also noticed this summer (and Rivian owners know what I'm talking about) but the fans we're absolutely screaming this...

Do You Want Your Scout To Have A Hands-Free Driving System?

I had FSD for 3 years v11-v13 and while it was good I found myself being bored in my car during my commute. Now if we were able to watch something on the screen like when flying it probably would've been a different experience but thats not allowed yet. I eventually got to the point where I...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I didn't know they made these. It looks really similar to what the Hummer EV has. It's a cool idea that offers the best of both worlds for Jeeps. Pretty cool indeed.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Yeah I know what you mean, but since I've had a glass roof in my last two vehicles I'm ready to open things up! Team Cabana all the way. It's funny that you're on the opposite perspective in that you've always been able to take your top off, (I'm referring explicitly to your Jeep lol) so I...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I totally agree with you, but my problem is FOMO lol! I absolutely want to get my Traveler as soon as I can but when the next Gen comes out, (much like I did with my Rivian) I will almost undoubtedly want the latest and greatest and trade it.

    Rivian R2 Experiences

Bummer....I am shocked at this. I'm going to ping Jose at Rivian Trackr and ask him if his is like this. I'll let you know.

Scout Concepts in Charlotte, North Carolina September 26, 2026

I hate that I am going to miss this event. So many community members are going and the Scout Team is a lot of fun to hang out with. I have no doubt everyone will have a great time and I am anxiously awaiting for a factory/training center meet up for res holders and community members. One can...

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Congrats on the res and welcome to community! It's not an unpopular take at all, and some would argue you are ahead of the curve because a lot of us think that eventually the Harvester will lead to full EV adoption. In fact, I own a Rivian R1T and I love it, but I will be getting the BEV...

    R2 Launch Watch

Annnnd this is why I am switching to Scout. Not only is the height and width much more my preference, (even compared to R1) but I mean just look at that front end! I get it for Rivian though, they wanted a front end that was instantly recognizable for brand identity and well they definitely got...

    Rivian R2 Experiences

@SpaceEVDriver Sorry to hear about your delivery experience, and I wish it would've gone the way it should have. It sounds to me like they might have moved you to another VIN in the system to get you a car sooner. But regardless, I'm glad to hear you are finding some enjoyable things with the...

Don't sweat it Jamie. Y'all know us, even if it's just one picture of the outside we'll talk about it for weeks :ROFLMAO:
