  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I've long thought the same thing, but was explained to me as why would you try to sell 10 cars when you could make the same money off of one top end version. My argument to that would be the lack of brand expansion could be detrimental to the companies success, just look at Fisker.

    Scout Color Poll #1

I just saw a recent post from SM on loved it. I think I love the flat look to it, and I think this might be my new top choice over Tahitian Red. Of course that is as long as it is available for Traveler. Call it my PBY if you will 😅

Seriously, the Scout merch is awesome, so much that I literally have to buy my wife a hoodie so she will quit taking mine!

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

Rivian owner here asl well. You Sir qualify as one of the aforementioned outliers lol! But seriously, my situation is MUCH different in the SE. We have charging pretty much everywhere and on the rare occasion I do take a road trip, (usually to go see something Scout related recently lol) the...

    Bought a brown station wagon

Great choice! When this car came out I really liked the direction they took with it. It looks good and is very capable. Idk if you watch the Youtube chanel Driving Sports TV but he just go the sibling to your car the Subaru Trailseeker. He also swapped the wheels and tires for 18 inch wheels...

Oldie but a goodie. How about taking away the boat ramp altogether and just driving into the lake to launch and get the boat :ROFLMAO:

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

The way I look at it, is if the Out Of Spec youtube channel can drive across the country multiple times in almost every EV that is on the market most people can easily own a BEV. Sure there will be outliers that still need the EREV, but I would say it's easily the majority who don't.

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

This supports the theory that transitioning to full BEV will only be a matter of time. Once you get comfortable running that many miles in EV mode only you will quickly learn that you can easily go with a full BEV going forward. This is especially true if the charging infrastructure can easily...

    Wondering about headlights

I've been saying it from the beginning but my only ask is that the headlights are adaptive. Once you have adaptive headlights you won't want anything else. They are so much better than everything else and the advantages they give are too numerous to count. If you haven't heard or seen them...

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

I'm right there with you. I've had most trucks (other than my Model 3) for the past 15 years and I literally never tow. The only things I haul are kiddos, dog, and a$$ lol! Come to think about it, the last and only SUV I've owned was my XJ, and given as how much I loved that little Jeep I think...
