  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Happy birthday @Colton_Scout80 🎉🎂🎉🥳

    Sizing up the competition

It was mentioned at Boston that it is very closely related to the proportions of the F-150, presumably obvious since it is the number one selling pick up

Sunshade Slider for the Roof and RGB Lighting

I think the hesitation to date is the opening is a bit smaller than the traveler so it means a completely separate design/fabrication vs if both vehicles shared the same sized opening. I suspect if every reservation holder for Terra spoke up and said they want it Scout could then justify the...

    Scoutsie does Boston, 10/15 & 10/17

It’s amazing in the right light how dark the lower “stripe” looks with the sheet metal indent strip just above the sill. Almost comes off looking like the dark graphic on the Porsche Macans. In sunlight it’s subtle but it really shows in this photo. The photo added is from charlotte event inside...

Sunshade Slider for the Roof and RGB Lighting

I think the general comments were steel and pano and the cabana is still up in the air

Inspiration for a possible smaller Scout Terra ;-)

Still felt it every day this past weekend. Realized it was only like 2 weeks since Charlotte but being outside with them was exciting. Same vehicles but different landscapes and they just look good with water nearby

It is such a great interior and the wood is growing on me. To @Scoutsie ’s point, the rear of the front seats is different in all three vehicles for those who haven’t noticed Rae plastic, inset mounting racks and the leather pockets pointed out above.

Still bummed I can’t find the one with your physical gesture which we won’t note on here!

    Sizing up the competition

I feel the same way. Good for a lot of areas but will struggle with some of the narrow passes. Also think 10 years from now more will be snatched up for lower cost and will be converting for serious rock climbing and overlanding

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

Open minded learning is what is offered here on forum and no where else. It’s a win from educational POV but also forces the haters out of here quickly since we all seem to be here to learn and not just crap all over something without hearing other sides. Granted we all have our hot buttons but...

Interesting as expected that the EV’s have wheels pushed out further so therefore longer wheel bases

    Size comparison

I can’t comment on this past weekend 😉 but at 5’-10” height I find the seating height to be amazing. Our last Uber ride in Boston was in a suburban-back seat obviously, but I would say height and overall interior width felt very similar, suburban felt (or was) a bit wider

I’d consider scrapping the Bronco and Wrangler just based on size and stature but the rest are good comparisons

Inspiration for a possible smaller Scout Terra ;-)

I like something like with which could also tie to a small urban van modeled after the original IH metro vans. Has a similar vibe
