  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What do we think is going to happen on the 24th of October?

I think just some cool new photos would be great. Not sure why we “need” something. Maybe just another confirmation things are moving forward as planned. Save the money and focus on the vehicles

    Drivers Seating

Until you had made the previous comment I didn’t even think of it that way but I busted out laughing when I read that-keep posting the lingo. We say way more offensive things on here some days

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Fair point. Quality wise I sure hope they are the same. Assuming that Bimmer will have some sort of adaptive suspension being a top tier model

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Not sure how much better it will be over a Scout Traveler at $100K loaded

    Bought a brown station wagon

That is what I have loved from day 1

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

Certainly helps explain the buyer demographic for those ugly ass boxes on wheels

    Bought a brown station wagon

This is the sibling to our Lexus RZ so I hope you like it as much as we do. Since you are a longer term EV owner I’ll be curious to see your thoughts moving forward. Congrats

    R2 Launch Watch

That’s a great view to see how much space you really can get out of the back of a Rivian

    Drivers Seating

Welcome to the community. Having sat in the front with the console and being 5’-10/11” the leg width was great. It’s a wide interior so lots of splay space

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

Would love to know the percentage of truck owners that overload their 1/2 tons -which is really what this is rather than purchasing a 3/4 ton for purpose driven towing

Amazing to me what people complain about. If they were die cast people would scream they are $9.99 each. I’m with you and glad they do what they do to allow all kids (and adults) to enjoy cars at a young age

Sunshade Slider for the Roof and RGB Lighting

Fair but those are basically a single piece and steel is necessary and non operating so designing a cabana roof that requires 50 parts then another 50 parts for terra adds cost and complexity. Don’t get me wrong it’s one of the things that still makes me think of buying a terra
