  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Scout Traveler SUV Green Off-Road Concept

I don't know if we're in the minority, but I'm with you! I think my choice comes down to the Pacific Mist and Silo Green (assuming both are available at launch) and Silo Green just took the lead (I think this is Silo Green anyway).

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

I really dig this interior. Love the leather color and love the fabric. I just don't know how practical it would be up here where I live. How dirty would that fabric get in the winter? Especially the oh-sh*t-strap. I've never seen one made with fabric before. I can't imagine how dirty that thing...

Ah Duratracs. I had them previously and miss them something awful. Almost indestructable.

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

I couldn't agree more! Coming from a Colorado ZR2, then Silverado Trail Boss, and then a Silverado ZR2 and going to my current Rivian R1T has been a bit of an adjustment. I too feel like it is too "pretty." I have all season tires and 22" wheels (came from the factory) and I feel like up here in...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

The funny thing is that for me, one of the major perks of having a Scout is everyone else WON'T have it!

    Loaded Traveler with Harvester?

I understand your concern and though I hadn't thought of it before, it certainly makes sense. Heck, Rivian is doing that with its R2, right? They promised what, a $40K starting price, and they can't obtain that without making it a RWD version. I honestly would be shocked if that's what Scout did...

    Launch Edition

This is an astute observation and I always pay very close attention to the language Scout uses. With respect to range, it's not coincidence for the BEV that they've stated it will get "up to" 350 miles of range. That means in real world, you're unlikely to get that. Rivian does the same thing...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

So is your inclination that customer deliveries will start in the first quarter of '28? As we get closer, the forum members should start friendly wagers when they will start! I think it'll be Q2, but I like your enthusiasm and I'm all for Q1!!!! My wife would be pumped too because she can get...

    Loaded Traveler with Harvester?

My soul is already sold to the Scout devil! I keep haranguing my wife with all the Scout news. I told her yesterday she only has about a year and a half left and she rolled her eyes! :ROFLMAO: With as invested as I am with these things, there's no way I'm not getting whatever they have for sale...

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

Yes, and Costco! I need to make sure they go over those speed bumps. And curbs. Perhaps curb check them so I can make sure it sustains the rigors of my driving.;)

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

You identified my concerns with the 33s exactly! Will they look too small? My tires on my Silverado Trail Boss looked ridiculous. Personally, I love the 35" and 22" rim. I have a 22" rim on my Rivian and like the look, but there's a little too little sidewall for the curb checks, if you know...

    Loaded Traveler with Harvester?

Good luck with that! :ROFLMAO: Whatever they come out with, I'm going to convince myself is my most perfect build every and if I could spec it out myself, I wouldn't have done anything differently. 🤷‍♂️

Mine too. Though at this point, with all gray or black interiors I've had, I'll take almost any non-black color!

    AWESOME. Get it, design team!

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

That's a really interesting concept. Has any auto manufacturer ever done that? Put cars in the hands of certain consumers before they go live to ferret out any issues?

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

I had and have the same experience. I had a Wrangler a few cars ago and the thing was terrible to drive. Just wandered all over the road. And here in Minnesota, the doors became essentially unusable after a winter or two. I LOVE my R1T. Just love it. Don't love the headlights and wish it were...

    Launch Edition

I know you're sworn to secrecy on some things, but was there any word about whether they'd offer more than one interior color or design at launch? They've shown all these cool interiors (all of which I LOVE and would be fine with any of them) but don't really want just a black leather interior...

    Launch Edition

That's great news! I think offering more than one color at launch is a great idea! I think it will help them sell more trucks right away. Also, with the different color concepts they've shown, I think it would be hard for them to offer, say gray, and then be like "Those cool colors you saw...

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

Living in Minnesota, I'm going to throw my hat in the ring for the Midwest. Winters are especially tough on cars around here. From heating to below zero temps to snow and ice, it's harsh up here in the winter. I know that companies test their cars up here in northern Minnesota for all these...
