  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Scout Concepts in Cambridge, MA, October 16-18, 2026

Born, raised and live in California for 46 years. Have only lived in the Midwest for 11 years. Being from California, anything in the “middle” of the country is the Midwest to me.

Head rest angle and seat size comfort

Having sat in the front and back of the Traveler I was happy with the seats, even though they don’t move. I’m 5’7” for reference.

Sunshade Slider for the Roof and RGB Lighting

Hi again! Okay , let’s see what I can answer for you. These are concept vehicles. While very close to what we will see in our production Scouts there will be some changes. I have seen the concepts in person multiple times and every time I have asked I have been told they are 85% of what we...

Drivers not happy with their car screens

Fair enough. As I always say, I hope everyone gets what they want and if ultimately what you want is a bigger screen in a Rivian then no harm, no foul. My understanding is that Scout is using Rivians zonal architecture, but the UX is being developed by Scout Motors for our Scouts. I am not...

Drivers not happy with their car screens

Welcome to the community. I have a question for you. I always have questions. If the center screen does not change size would that be enough to deter you from purchasing?

    Scout's comin' to Cambridge...Wicked pissah!

I know it’s a long drive for everyone and parking, etc, etc, but it’s an adventure. Was I thrilled about getting up at 1:30 in the morning and on the road at 2 to drive for 750 to 790 miles each way to go to the events in SC and NC? Not really, but I knew what was at the end of that drive...

They need to go after multiple demographics. Mountainside isn’t my build, but if selling and upscale vehicle with no tire carrier helps keep them in business so I can get my Trail-Ready build, fine with me.

    Brake pedal behavior: Preference?

Ahhh, no it was a used one, a 2023 I think and as soon as I sat in it I was like someone smoked in this car and they ran that ionizer thing in it to try and hide it. I bet you that was it because I sat in it, the smell was off and I was instantly nauseous. New car smell has never bothered...

    Brake pedal behavior: Preference?

Good to know but not ideal. I mean I was nauseous as soon as I pushed the start/stop button. Hadn’t even moved yet. What the heck??

    Scout Color Poll #1

Well I’m in it for the long haul with my Traveler. I plan on having her long enough that she becomes an OG Scout.
