  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Marketing IDIOTS

The first two generations of the Bravada were badge-engineered S10 Blazers. Slap an Oldsmobile badge on and sell. At least the last-gen (02-04) had some truly unique styling points compared to the others. Oldsmobile got the raw end of the deal, just like Pontiac and Saturn when GM was forced to...

    Marketing IDIOTS

I personally don’t have intentions of taking the Terra off-road. That said, you’ll find mine; eventually, working hard just like my current F150. Hauling tools and materials to my job sites. Then you’ll find it hauling my family and our gear to the beach on the weekend. Most SUVs that are...

The comments are likely made by people who wouldn't be buying one anyhow, regardless of the starting price or options.

    Bench Seats vs Cupholders

In my current truck (2015 F-150) there's cup holders in the doors, cup holders in the back of the fold-down middle seat and there's cupholders that can come out of the bottom of the middle seat. When using the middle seat though, only the door ones are accessible. Unless Scout designs them in...

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

When it comes to good food and good company, hard to say no! The more the merrier! I could have probably convinced my wife tonight was a pizza night without much effort since she mentioned a local joint just yesterday, haha. Once a month we do a special meal, that I won't go into much detail...

Happy Friday. It’s going to be a Pork Wellington night for my household. My mouth is already watering, haha

    FB find of the day

I’m hoping they go full-out and offer 3 benches. A 9 passenger! Only the Suburban/Tahoe is available that way currently.

    FB find of the day

General discussion is 3- row next because it’s the easiest next vehicle using the platform. There was also talk of that Audi true lux offroader so guess it depends on where VWAG sees things moving at the upcoming board meeting I could definitely see them heading for the mid-size market though...

    FB find of the day

Definitely makes one think that's the next direction for Scout, no?

How would you build your Scout?

Do you think her hubs would rapid-fire photos as she was going down? Like a slow-mo collage? :ROFLMAO: Terrible, terrible

What will be your signature scent after new car smell wears off?

That's what the frunk is for bay-bay! lol

What will be your signature scent after new car smell wears off?

You know, my mom uses a cinnamon broom in her vehicle. Yesterday while we were out we saw some mini ones and stuck one in the truck, and I gotta say it's quite nice. I think I may keep doing that.

    First meal in your Scout

Y’all would cringe at the state of my truck currently. No food trash, but dust, dirt, tools… lol. At least all my seats are accessible to use.

    First meal in your Scout

You know, I will say that was the disappointing thing with my current truck. Have had lots of helpers including my Dad (haha) spill coffee in my truck. At least they’re not the type to add cream and sugar, but still. At least a solid, non-saucy food item can just be picked up and discarded.

    First meal in your Scout

That's what they make hand rolls for, bruh! 🍣 This is actually a legitimately good question, and largely depends on how I'm getting my truck. If it's a factory pick-up it's going to be some chain (most likely) out that way that isn't here in TX. If I have it delivered to home, it's probably...

    Popular Common Builds?

Ironically I have one of those, but it just didn't work like I wanted it to. I don't know why, but I had all sorts of trouble with that.

    Popular Common Builds?

Excellent marketing opportunity as well. With the variations we're seeing from everyone on here already, there's no way they couldn't potentially make that happen. Honestly, even if it makes the process take a little longer, great photo opp.

Lol I know... but figured I might as well make it totally clear haha. Yes... YES, an electric dispenser would make my life so much easier.

    Popular Common Builds?

I do legitimately like honey that much. 🍯 At any given time we have multiple jars and bears in the house... But no, to get sappy, I mean the sweetest thing in my life, my wife. Cue the "awwwwws" 😆

    Popular Common Builds?

Flexibility of use. I have had 2 trucks in a row with bench seats up front and have used them more times than I can count. Using one 13mpg pig seems more efficient than using 2, 20 mpg pigs to move 6 people. Also, with bucket seats I can’t get my honey slid right up next to me. That alone is...
