Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    GAH - the satin finish is dooope. Being naive about auto paint - is the gloss/satin a difference in finishing or sealing? Or are they completely separate paints? Basically - how complicated it is to have a gloss option & a satin option for multiple colors?

    The door handle lights are a nice touch - but they look reeeally bright in this. Also pretty cool that the mirror light highlights the Harvester badge/door. Not sure if that was intentional (wouldn't be surprised though)?

    Yeah, I assumed it was the forum software since I'm sure Scout didn't build one from scratch. And as someone who works with a 3rd party CMS, I know it's not always easy to address things like this. That being said, it is annoying & I've learned to not open that menu. hahaha

    I love that semi-matte or whatever. I hope it's available for a couple colors. Really want to see the Traveler Tahitian Red with the semi-matte finish.

    My wife's parents live in Seattle, so if it was a little further out we might have been able to take a trip (& I could make a detour). But I have no desire to see what flights would look like only 2-3 weeks out. Hahaha

    While I think a delay would suck, I'm currently not in a position where I need to worry about replacing my current vehicle so I can wait. Obviously things can change between now & then, and I'd like my Traveler sooner rather than later, but Faith & Patience© is working so far.

    Yeah, you'd think with the R2 launch going well, there'd be a little more "counter-programming". Even being 2 years out of production, you don't want to lose too much momentum. The upcoming events should help, but they're limited by geography - hopefully a lot of good info comes out of them.

    I got faked out today - large semi-rigid envelope in the mailbox. Though maybe I made the cut for a poster! Turned out to be a debt consolidation offer (which makes you wonder how much money those people make if they can send out fancy mail to people who've never contacted them before).
