  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

Yeah… so this is basically exactly my build. My only wish would be to take that finish and make it matte, but, honestly, we can put a bow on it right now and I will not complain. Absolutely stunning

I love this so so much! Not sure if I am going to make it up the hill to Aspen over Labor Day, but I am absolutely going to try!

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

Apologies if this has been suggested but it is top of mind (given that I completely whiffed on the clay Scout race hoodie) - any thoughts of doing an additional hoodie... perhaps spring/fall weight? I am a hoodie junkie, so I would obviously be stoked

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

When I was in a band in the early 2000s our bassist had an early 90s Pathfinder (forest green, stick shift) - one of the most surprisingly smooth clutches I've ever used in a manual - plus you could really pack in the gear ha

    Trim names…

100% Agree - Even if that Electrall design is just slightly altered from the Harvester design - like something just different enough that outsiders may not see the differences, but would be fun for those in the know (also, a great opportunity to have hoodies/hats/etc. with either the Electrall...

    Trim names…

Not sure if this has been said, but maybe they could borrow some of the old Harvester Tractor brand names for the trim levels, as a further nod to the Harvester legacy. Not sure if there would be trademark issues, but a few would work really well: - Cub (base model) - Fairway and/or Electrall...

I had my reservation set for a fully electric Terra, then recently made the switch to the fully electric Traveler (this week). Basically, I started thinking about the vehicle I loved driving the most: a 1996 Lexus LX450 (took it over 300,000 miles). The LX had a split tailgate just like the...

    Front bench lower docking console

Thank you! I have been quietly reading the boards since I first put down the deposit, but overall really dig the conversation in this community. It seems like everyone here shares a genuine excitement for Scout's return. I cannot wait, and really hope that the team will be able to have an event...

    Front bench lower docking console

They could do something like how Lexus incorporated an extra cup holder on the older-ish RXs to the left of the steering wheel (see below) While I'm not sure if Lexus carried through to the newer RX models, it really was a nice little perk. Theoretically you could throw one of these on either...
