We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Tesla's will hold the tilt until you leave Reverse. That being said, with the new camera setup in my 2022, I didn't bother to set the tilt. While Tesla does not have a full birds eye, the views from the under mirror and rear cameras give me plenty of visibility. I don't even check my mirrors...

    Whoa this is news. I test drove a '26 Equinox EV and I didn't notice anything weird about reverse (but it was a pretty short test drive). I know there were big changes starting with the '25 model year, any chance they fixed it in the later version?

    Interesting. Tesla automatically tracks "since last charge" as well as "this drive" and then has 2 trip meters that you can reset whenever you want.

    They followed Tesla here. Although Tesla lets you disable the feature when at home. I found it too sensitive and disabled it completely for the reason you stated. I would prefer the kick mechanism - my Volvo XC40 Recharge had it and it worked well (but Tesla is allergic to ultrasonic sensors).

    Sounds deadening in an EV is always a huge compromise. Sounds deadening is HEAVY which kills range. That being said, tire choice will make the most difference. ATs are going to be loud no matter what. I'm also curious if Scout is planning to do some active sound deadening in the headrests...
