  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

I like the sweet gum. Would be curious how that looks flexed over curved dash areas. Kinda cool. I’d like to see pressed cork

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Another story. This is odd because they opted to AI the two scouts together into one which I don’t understand 🤷🏼 https://www.autoblog.com/news/scout-traveler-concepts-channel-range-rover-luxury-and-defender-grit

I thought about corten as well but like 3 months exposure not 3 years. I like the fresh burnished look but not the full “rust” look-at least for a car. For sculpture and community features I think corten is an amazing product

    Google Gemini AI Scout Images

Almost looks like AI pulled Bronco seats but not quite. Trying to figure out out what suv it pulled the seats from?

Drivers not happy with their car screens

Agree but I have seen backwards movements several times when CarPlay updates and the do something the car manufacturer struggles to match SW changes with

We have Happy Friday so why not Happy Birthday!

Not many birthdays listed. I check nearly every day. If you want birthday wishes update your profile to add birthday and I’ll do my best to catch and wish you good cheer

Given I dumped ours I wouldn’t 😀. But almost seems like other manufactures are checking in here to see all of our suggestions. Great way to grab free product development ideas 🤣

That really sucks but Chinese EVs are starting to dominate and VW struggling with too much product variation

Drivers not happy with their car screens

Having had multi MDXs and other Acuras I agree the dual screen always surprised me with all the hate. I always thought it made a ton of sense. Kind of miss it to be honest

Drivers not happy with their car screens

On the positive it seems like SM is trying to minimize the screen use as much as possible. Hope it doesn’t become an issue

    Old iron. I like it!

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

Unique. Not my taste but could see people doing it. I’d like a bronzed copper finish but without the green patina

Oil finished looking barn wood could be killer looking

And have your kind of money 🤣🤣🤣. Now I’m dipping into Scout funds to see scouts

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This was a great suggestion. 3-1/2 years in and we did t think about it. I think their plan for pet mode is to allow you to upload your pet’s pic so why not the plain screen if you prefer. Now I thinking a still shot of a Ms. Pac-Man screen

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Exactly. I’ve seen those and part of what made me think of it. Kandinsky in your, dogs playing poker in mind but each becomes a statement of the driver
  19. J Alynn

How would you build your Scout?

I get it but Stellantis 🤣
