  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Popular Common Builds?

I stayed at a hotel last year that had a very nice breakfast Buffett. On it was a metal tray tipped on an angle under a glass cover and they had an entire honey comb on it and then a drip tube and handle like the valve on a fancy drink cooler. Was super cool. Wish I would have taken a picture...

July 2026 Scout Motors Production Center Update

You’ve been doing a ton of catching up this weekend.

How would you build your Scout?

Nice. Love the color and both interiors. I struggle with me personally loving the brick/terracotta interior but having seen it a few times it is stunning, but the brown leather for sure. I have a general question since you noted it and for others and not a knock-just curious. How often does a...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I agree completely with this but having paddle shifters in my car helps entertain me a lot. With an SUV, not so much and BEV-not necessary but I see why someone might like it for daily engagement

I knew what you meant and glad she still enjoys riding shot gun with you. Now the honey thing-maybe an electric dispenser 😀

    Battery used

I think their are many that would agree with this but at launch they have to go with tried or true or they risk a very quick crash and burn potential

Charlotte Scout Harvester Festival, September 26th

That’s what made the reveal so special. Part of the morning looking at beautiful OG scouts with anticipation of what they would even look like. Then surprise! They looked great. This Charlotte event seems very cool

Are you talking gallons of honey? That’s a lot of honey. I usually just buy the little bottle shaped like a bear 🤣

Some cars have that. The mountainside vehicle looks like Goldilocks seats

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

We that seems very predatory if you ask me. Sounds like more of that “we add value and we are here to serve the public” dealership and NADA keep preaching

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I wonder if SM would give a discount if you walked in and purchased 2?

    Popular Common Builds?

I think the bench is nostalgia or a flex if you work from your vehicle-like a construction foreman or site inspector or a laptop station when sitting at your kid’s practice. Also good flex if you regularly bring home young kid’s friends. I dont do any of that and while I think the bench is cool...

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

So I spent the day in Annapolis today. Took a schooner sail then walked down town. Someone mentioned regional influences the other day and I had mentioned sail cloth. Anyway-walked into a shop that had women’s bags of different sizes and uses but all were made with used sailcloth. Most were from...

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

Thinking about @LastDayScout ’s interior with the walnut-wondering if it would look cool maybe for launch if the metal inlay in the seatback was done in wood with an engraved Scout logo. Any thoughts?
