    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    I’m glad to hear the frunk will be slightly larger. I’m disappointed to hear they plan on throwing in a can of fix a flat if you don’t opt for the big back tire. I had hope they just move one to the front.

    Right. It’s been the same on my end. And I when friends who work there and are high up. But I 100% agree with you @cyure Corp. is good at holding the corporate talking points. I’ll give them that.

    I’m not interested in the option, personally. I do like the tire on the back, only because a spare tire is important to me. And if they could option it without it being so cumbersome, that would be great.

    Right! I hope so too. Each rep all had different answers. Mainly because so much has not been solidified. But at $60k, this base model better be well equipped, because competition certainly is.

    I was there last night and the night before. They don’t protrude enough when the doors are closed to act as a step. There will, according to the rep, be a standard and deployable running board option. The step in height is at least 1.5 feet.

    This is such a good record keeper. Two years later, and DOT has finally approved them! Perhaps it will make an appearance.

    Spare Tire

    Please make the spare tire standard. Reps shared that it wouldn't be today in Cola. They even challenged the fact that other main competitors don't offer them i.e. the Bronco (inaccurate info btw). But an upcharge for a spare tire on a purpose-built off-road vehicle is an interesting choice...

    Early Deliveries, Terra foam mode, and Plant Details

    I know it’s pretty cool! You can tell on by looking through the glass at the blank interior. It’s a plastic-acrylic shell overlay. But still pretty awesome.
