Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    To be fair, US Federal Law requires a car to be at least 25 years old to the month in order to import. Our selection or Euro cars is much more limited than you'd think.     That's good to know, they're almost like the Scout with the low/wide screen which I like so much... but since it's canted toward the driver I wonder how it'll look in the bench-seat version.

    You know, I don't even mind dark gray fabric, but when the manufacturers take the entire center of the dash and make it as ugly as possible it's just weird. I always hate that aspect of the base trims.

    I think the only problem I would have with them leaning into the outdoorsy names as you mentioned is that a lot of other brands are already doing that type of thing, you know? Not as unique. Not that it's bad, just not unique enough to me.

    I think @OleScout is right that Thresher at least would be another great name. Binder could be good too. Maybe Plow? Seeder? Lol, I don't know, but Reaper and Thresher are the best sounding ones to me.

    Yea Reaper HAS to be a high performance version, that's just too cool of a name to not use that way. I like leaning into the farm/ranch world for naming on these vehicles, it just makes sense.

    Yea, I’m thinking that’s the sweet spot for me too. The 37s look fantastic on the Terra now… but I don’t want to have to replace them, haha.

    Weekend before last we did 16 hours, almost to the minute. I told my wife in the last 2 hours that my ass end no longer existed and I was just pogo sticking on my spine at that point, lol.

    This is exactly what I started doing last summer and this one too. I really paid close attention to how many stops and how long. An EV for me to get from Houston, TX to Sturgis, SD would potentially be the same exact stops for nearly the same exact times.
