  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Will the Scout EREV be obsolete by the time it gets here in 2027/28?

Will the Scout EREV be obsolete by the time it gets here in 2027/28?

Not at all! But I’m at 70K miles on my 35’s and only replaced them once…. I follow the Cybertruck quite a bit, and one of the most talked about complaints is tires not even lasting 20K miles. I’ve also only replaced my brakes 1x. Again I wasn’t crapping on EV’s at all, just think the...

So far we have seen 3 1/2 (the all white and the spirit of '76 weren't all that different) versions of the Traveler concept, and only 2 of the Terra.... Does that mean the Terra is next for a refresh????

Will the Scout EREV be obsolete by the time it gets here in 2027/28?

the "maintenance" that comes from an ICE vehicle, which all EV enthusiasts always refer to, makes me laugh....... what real maintenance is there? an oil change 2x a year? But yet they never seem to mention that EV's are heavier vehicles and burn through rubber (especially on bigger vehicles)...

Scout Concepts in Hudson, New York, July 3, 2026

Very badly, but being a concept and not be allowed to sit in them makes me question if I should wait for the factory ones they will be showcasing across the country over the next year or so

    Standard Packages Identified Yet

the only thing that has been mentioned is a visualizer coming later this year..... I wouldn't expect to see any build and price features until 2027

    May 2026 update???

considering that Jaime said the next update will be the June update, I'm guessing there will not be a May installment. Therefore, wagering end of June (28th?)

    May 2026 update???

oooh didn't see this one, but I'm personally more excited for what's coming than the heritage and community of the 70's vehicles. Still a very cool watch though.

    May 2026 update???

May was a busy month for Scout... a handful of events, the training center officially opened now, and I'm sure plenty of progress in Blythewood..... anxiously waiting for an official news update..... Youtube been pretty quiet as of lately, so these keep my hype train rolling.

adding 2" of tire height only adds 1" to vehicle height. that 2" is in full diameter so under the axle is only half of that. the other half is inside the wheel well.
