  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Vehicle Visualizer/Configurator Tool

Any updates on these? Haven't had a chance to see this in person yet (C'mon Scout, come to Massachusetts) and need a way to obsess a little more over the Traveller. Do I want five spoke wheels or retro, what color, what options. Oh and while I'm thinking of it, having different backgrounds...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

The factory tonneau covers are fugly and attach to the outside. Not a huge fan. I found one on the Internet, fits in the rear area behind the seats and covers the back.

    Trim names…

I think my thought process is more or less about telling Scout's story. International Harvester built equipment for farmers, ranchers, contractors, et al. The original Scout was a natural extension of that philosophy, a vehicle built for work first and adventure second. That's why names like...

    Trim names…

What if Scout really leaned into its heritage? Option 1: Leans into the Scout lifestyle —Adventure, the outdoors, and American craftsmanship. Homestead – Everyday Scout. Simple, capable. Outfitter – Adds more comfort, features, and options. Ranch – Premium trim. Thinking fancier than King...

    Scout Color Poll #1

For those who have seen the prototypes IRL, what are some close color comparisons? Is Tahitian Red close to the orange on Broncos etc.?

Scout Concepts in Hudson, New York, July 3, 2026

@Jamie@ScoutMotors Any idea when the vehicles will make their way to Massachusetts? Timber yard Brewery would be a great spot for a show and tell. https://share.google/WDkeBfao6MmuXlOuX

    What’s your purchasing plan?

That's what I did with my 21 Bronco, made sure I got everything I wanted on it, still love the thing 94k miles later. Likely doing same with the Traveller

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This would be nice, the option to have heated back, butt, or both would be nice options.

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

How about the rest of the stuff I asked? Never owned an EV so curious if they all sou.lnd like the generic space car sounds (wooooooook.) Or if you can can change the sound? Is that sound you hear outside the EV the same you hear in the cabin, or is this what everyone will hear?

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

I watched this video and was wondering, is this what the Scout is going to sound like, or is that just what the prototypes sound like? Is this something EV owners can change? Is that just what you hear in the cabin, or is this what everyone will hear? Check out this video, "scout motors jay...
