  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Adventure Key - NFC wristband

I think that is the most ingenious idea that LR came up with. I really hope Scout comes up with a version of it.

1,000+ reservations take rate stats: Harvester vs. Full-EV and Traveler vs. Terra

We shall see. However, I don't spend that much time servicing my vehicles. And that includes my two street motorcycles, the dirt bikes, my Nissan Titan and the beater Mercury Sable that refuses to die, and my 68 Camaro which I drive weekly. I probably spend more time detailing my vehicles than...

What are you driving until release?

I ride a motorcycle daily as gas prices here in the once Golden State are crazy. I also ride because of my ability to move through the constant traffic much more efficiently. My trucks are a 2004 Nissan Titan that I purchased brand new and a 2001 Taco Pre-Runner. My Titan and been a loyal...

What are you driving until release?

The "fanbois" that originally started with Tesla have migrated to many places. Especially in the Rivian forums too. Hopefully, this forum can keep them to a minimum. They love to hijack forums though.

Little things I find annoying with my current car (lights, wipers, A/C)

I've rented many vehicles, and so far, I really like how Hyundai, Mercedes, BMW do their stalks. Very easy to understand and intuitive. Great cars to use for point of reference or reverse engineer.

1,000+ reservations take rate stats: Harvester vs. Full-EV and Traveler vs. Terra

I don't think that at all. Personally speaking (and maybe are these other people who reserved this model) I can tell you what I need. My current 2004 Nissan Titan has taken myself and my 2 boys all over the Western U.S. Camping, fishing, dirt bike riding, road trips, vacations, family events...

    What did you reserve?

I reserved a Terra with Range Extender. I need this to go to remote places where I camp, fish, dirt bike ride, mountain bike ride etc. It will replace my Nissan Titan which has been a Billy goat of a truck for me.
