  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

New Scout To Be Revealed On October 24, 2024

Don't like the headlights, everything else looks OK.

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

Custom Jeep was just to give an idea of 4 door SUV with half cab and short box. Removable doors and top would be cool!

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

Jamie, will the reveal have two vehicles, SUV and pickup truck?

Jamie, can you tell us the wheelbase for the SUV and the Truck?

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

I thought you would have a shorter wheelbase for the SUV? If so, I thought a removable or replaceable rear top.

Jamie, would there be a half top available for the shorter wheelbase Scout for those that don't need the longer box or want the longer wheel base? Similar to this modified Jeep Cherokee:

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

I haven't seen this video before:

    Electric back window

I was behind a new Toyota Tundra and watched his back window go down just like in the 4Runner. So I guess you could use the same back window in the truck as the SUV.

    Honda Ridgeline 2 way tailgate

I like the power window idea too. The truck version could use same tailgate without the window and capped.

    Honda Ridgeline 2 way tailgate

I think it would be better if the hinge was on the passenger side and latch on the drivers side.

    Scout Color Poll #1

Lime gold like this new Subaru. Would look good with a white top.

    More of a Ute

Squint your eyes, and imagine a taller top with less angled windshield, rounded flares, rear upright straight like the front one. Just instead of a truck and a SUV, you can do it all with one vehicle like the Traveler and Terra pickup. Of course you wouldn't have a large pickup box.

    More of a Ute

Fisker Alaskan Ute. With a removable back window and bulkhead. Add a backhalf top and it's a SUV! That is my idea of being one vehicle with different tops.

    Tesla dual motor LR Defender

I hope the new Scout does something similar to this. Dual motor and conventional solid axles and suspension similar to the aftermarket Jeep Wrangler setups. 400 HP and 400 mile range would be excellent.

    An Other Scout Forum

I like the green render on the title page, Especially the flares. Don't like the hidden Tesla door handles. https://www.scoutmotorsforum.com/
