  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I wonder if it’s these. So @R1TVT posted this back in November. And then Jamie responded. So maybe it is the bucks.

Hmmm, now something isn’t making sense. The two we know about are going to be in New York on the 3rd. @Jamie@ScoutMotors can we please get clarification on this. Now it’s my understanding there was that Traveler buck at that SC minor league baseball stadium. Maybe that’s it. 🤷‍♀️

Front Bench Center Airbag – Safety Request

Welcome to the community! Just an FYI, the current Traveler and Terra that you are seeing are not pre-production. They are one of a kind, hand built with many 3-D printed parts concept vehicles. It has been stated they are 85% of what we will see in the production vehicles. A great follow...

    R2 Launch Watch

Plus my husband had an observation when he saw them. He said a lot of vehicles may not appear as wide because they have fender flares and different elevations in the hood until they get to their highest point in the middle. The Traveler and Terra don’t have that. They are blocky. There’s no...

    R2 Launch Watch

Hi! Having seen them a Tahoe is too big to compare it to in my honest opinion. The new 4Runner is what I compare it to. The Scout is about 2 inches wider than the 4Runner and then throw a tire on the back. The 4Runner is 194 and the Scout is 190, so actually shorter than a 4Runner. That...

Scout Concepts in Hudson, New York, July 3, 2026

I couldn’t sit in them at Nats and I’m still very glad I went. I needed to visualize size and plus it’s something about the community. The staff is so accommodating and you never know what little tidbit you are going to pick up at an event.

One Giant Leap Into the World of EV Ownership

I just appreciate everyone here so so much. I never would have even considered a BEV without you guys. I work from home so weekly it’s just around town. Multiple times a year we go to Peoria, about 40 miles each way, and Chicago, 110 to 135 depending on what part each way. If we do a...
