  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Instrument Cluster

    I like it. Very nostalgic.

    Removable Doors

I used to race spec e30, BMW 325s from the 80s and 90s. It was literally two nuts on each door and the doors on that fine german automobile would pop right off. Once removed the nuts would be tossed and lost; raced for years and never had a door come loose. Mind you we stripped the doors of...

    Removable Doors

In my 20s I would spend the winter in Florida with the doors off and was thankful in the summer to put them back on; even if they did not seal well enough to keep the AC in. In my 40s now and in my Gladiator I would never bother/risk running without doors on. Paint is too hard to match. Too...

    Scout Color Poll #1

Yeah I have been noticing that since the beginning. I think it's a function of being able to pick three colors. My guess is that the match adds to 300....

    User maintainability

@Jamie@ScoutMotors Can you tell us more about the concept that owners can service these new Scouts? Not that I am so inclined these days but as an idea and for the future to teach my boys how to work on cars and solve problems for oneself. M

What kind of tech do you expect enabled in the car or interface?

Prior to owning my current vehicle, Mojave Gladiator, I had a '15 GMC Denali. It was an amazing truck until...all the bells and whistles started to fail. First major one was the magnetic shocks. Awesome when they work but to have them fail inside of 40k miles and then cost 4k to replace was...

Entry Model Specs, Premium Model Price?

Agree largely. Look at whats happened to the Wrangler line though. Pricing is out of control. Never would I have imagined a 100k$ Wrangler?! Hell Mojave Gladiators are 60k+. Maybe Scout/VW will learn from Jeep and how soft that market went. Bought my Mojave for 25%off sticker. Local...

Entry Model Specs, Premium Model Price?

I would love for there to be trim level that was utilitarian to a point. Still want my back up cameras and some other creature comforts but with a low maintenance interior that keep the price in check. For those that want all the lux there are still the Land Rovers and G wagons out there. M

Would you be more inclined to purchase if...

I voted no as I am indifferent to the power train options. There are a lot of pros to either ice or evs options and each have their detractors. A well built v8 is hard to beat. I have yet to own an EV so I am looking forward to experiencing that too. The worst can be an underperforming...

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

Long time/multiple time Jeep owner here. I think what Scout has proposed in the Traveler will be a great competitor to the Jeep. So much so I have put a deposit on a Traveler. Even though I live in the concrete jungle I am on Jeep number 3&4. One for the woods (05 LJ) and one for daily (23...

    Color/Graphic Option

Yeah my Gladiator is in battleship grey. Love the non-metalic paints on cars, so glad manufacturers are bring them back.

I think the hight of the belt line is driven by Washington regulations. I would not hold your breath for more glass.
