  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Makes sense. However, as Tesla has shown with their anti-roll over videos a BEV with its extremely low COG is much less likely to rollover than ICE vehicles. But for manufacturers always better to be safe than sorry.

When is the next East Coast opportunity? @Jamie@ScoutMotors will any vehicles be at the New York Auto Show in April by any chance?

Cost is the true road block I think, well that and I think the majority of companies and or operators in that industry to adopt EV ownership easily. In fact, most of those companies aren't going to think proactively and instead are typically reactive only purchasing new equipment when there is...

Curious now has there been any mention of the rear window rolling down on the Traveler? That would be awesome, especially with the inclusion of the cabana top (if it makes production).

    A Gift From Scout Motors

I got mine! I've never owned a Scout before, but I totally get it now. It is such an incredible feeling to already have a personal connection with a vehicle I don't even own yet. Thank you Scout Team!

I really hope this isn't the case. Electrification seems like such a cleaner, better solution all around and I would hope more states and companies would lean more into the adoption.

Yeah I think most if not all the off-road heavy equipment will use the J1772 mainly because of how many manufacturers are global. Alex from OOO Bits did a good video on this recently. I think the EV adoption in this space makes total sense and surely with the instant torque and power available...

We wont, they have their own solution, the EV equipment will be far cheaper to run and maintain. It's brilliant! https://www.cat.com/en_US/products/new/power-systems/electric-power/mobile-equipment-charger/112964.html

Makes total sense. Its shocking how much you get with the Ioniq for the money, not to mention solid charging. I think SM will be high initially at Launch (just like R2 and everything else for that matter) but to survive they'll have to get the cost down somehow.

CX90 is a really good looking car IMO. But I am curious as to why the Lucid Gravity did not make your list?

    All terrain tires

It doesn't say anything about EV from what I can find, but they have listed LT 10 & 12 ply so it should work with no problem.

Will do! I've heard a lot of positive things from them, but what matters most is longevity.

    New Scout Review Video

Dang it, I did a quick search but didn't see anything lol! I'm going to take it down to spare anymore confusion. I was just hyped to find some new Scout media :ROFLMAO:

    New Scout Review Video

I haven't seen anything posted on this yet, but there is a recent video from GreenCars on the Scout vehicles. The video shows fantastic size comparison, has some updated information, and some great breakdowns on the design etc. 🤙

    All terrain tires

I got great mileage from the tires on my Tesla Model 3. However, my Rivian R1T has Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT All Season tires on it. I'm coming up on 19k miles and I'll be lucky if I can make it to 25k. I will say that I do drive my truck hard at times and it spends a decent amount of time...

Scout Concepts in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 25, 2026

Would love to see them, but I can't travel across the country to see them, and it doesn't really make sense especially when I'm 2 hours away from where they will be built.
