  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

I could not agree with you more. I bought a new crew cab F-150 in 2019 and I loved everything about it, the sitting higher, cab space, and bed space. Then I went the total opposite direction when I started working for Tesla and got a long range Model 3 (huge difference I know lol). After a few...

    Under Front Seat Vents

Good call. My Rivian has grate over opening which helps but things can still get in them. Hopefully there will be vents in either the B/C Pillar or roof and cargo area for the doggo's

TFL dumping on Scout in there latest video

Looking at the April factory update I would say negativity belongs entirely on TFL's side not the fanboys lol https://community.scoutmotors.com/threads/april-2026-scout-production-center-update.7627/

I don't like running boards either but I love me some rock sliders 😉

Nah 35's on mine lol. But yeah seeing 33's on a 18 Traveler could definitely catch the eye of a whole new potential set of buyers.

April 2026 Scout Production Center Update

Remember folks, that first one is an actual picture no longer a render. Absolutely incredible! Anyone who doubts the Scout will make it to market now is just a fool.

    Terra Cabana Top

Curious if in your region the Jeep Wranglers with the retractable soft tops have you heard if they have the types of issues you're concerned about with the cabana top? I live in GA so I'm planning on going cabana top all the way! I too have a R1T and while I love the glass it gets VERY hot on...

Scout Concepts in Seattle, Washington, May 9, 2026

This is going to be a super cool event. Just saw a video from Doug DeMuro's new YT channel Key. about this place and Scout is a perfect fit for an event there. Man I wish I could go to this one too! I'm beginning to understand @cyure view of wanting to go to them all lol!

IMO they should also look into the Subaru Trailseeker. I think that could offer a potential best of both scenario for them.

Colton Goes to Scottsdale | Scout Motors Event at FourtillFour Cafe

This is a great shot. I've been wanting to see the rear bumper detail, and this looks just as good as the front. The off-road bumpers are definitely the way to go IMO.

    Lexus RZ chronicals-by my wife

Love this idea! Its a beautiful car too, my wife loves the looks of the Lexus but we're going to get a R2 until we get our Scout. But I really look forward to hearing what your wife's experience is with her new car, because my wife has never driven an EV and I've owned one for 5 years, so the R2...

    The Start/Stop Button

I get that, I'm just going to take solace in knowing we'll have full NFC capabilities, so I'm more than happy with that. However, I think the original idea from @J Alynn about changing to a "S" button is brilliant. I would absolutely love a quick programmable button such as a my mode, instant...

With all the batteries they're going to have to find a way to get weight down, I would certainly expect aluminum panels, but maybe we can get steel quarters to protect us from squirrel farts :ROFLMAO:

    The Start/Stop Button

It looks like he did state that it will work both ways. He said if we dont want to use it, its fine, and we will be able to just walk away and it will lock/shut off, so it would certainly suggest that if it has NFC accessibility you will also be able to approach it and it will unlock. With NFC...

    The Start/Stop Button

It sounds like to me that we are getting both. We are getting a start/stop button but we will have the functionality of NFC which to me means, (hopefully) that if want we can bypass the button if we have our phone, fob, or potentially key card to do so. I do love hearing that we can just walk...

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

No question, but I absolutely loved the digital paint spraying. That was really awesome to see as well as how all the other photos show how in dept and rigorous the training they are doing right from the start is. (y)

    The Start/Stop Button

I hate that your Rivian experience went like that. They are far better now and have "drive specialist" that even after I told them I had a Rivian they still walked me to the car and went over all the vehicle openings, drive functions, and emergency procedures. Its my hope, and almost assuredly...
