  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    20-24 mpg

Same, I get 14 mpg, so 24 average sounds like a huge upgrade overall.

    20-24 mpg

Realistically it's an important metric though. If the point of the Harvester is to be able to go farther, then people would still need to/like to know how efficient it is, and MPG makes the most sense, regardless of it charging the battery or being directly connected to the driveline. Either...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I honestly hope for the best though, because we know good innovative products drive competition and make a win for all of us.

Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep have somehow managed to reinvent themselves so many times over the years that I won't totally discount them... but I'm also not holding my breath.

    A Gift From Scout Motors

Had received the book the other day, and as an example I opened it up to a random page and it was all about the Redwoods and that general area. I’m taking it as a sign cause the wife and I have been talking about a trip for a long time there.

    FB find of the day

Everybody looks down when looking into a vehicle. Nobody thinks to look up for the murder weapon!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

That is true. I can't imagine how much bigger some of those places would have to be to accommodate seating too!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

It's not just "BRISKET ON THE BOARDDDDD!" It is the truth, the way, the light!

I remember on another forum years ago someone basically laughing at me for suggesting that the Maverick would be perfect for a small landscaper, pool cleaners, parts deliver, etc. They suggested they'd never be used that way. Yea... seems like about every 5th one I see is being used for those...

So Toyota Rav4 truck, or a Maverick competitor. It'd sell.

Boring? That's easily the most exciting Acura I've ever seen design-wise, lol. :ROFLMAO:

Honda going for some Lambo vibes in the front there. I don't hate that actually, but agree with speedrye that it doesn't exactly look like a sedan in my mind.

Will the Scout EREV be obsolete by the time it gets here in 2027/28?

That's where I'm at with my truck. Just past 10 years of ownership and it's been hard with that wandering eye haha, but also nothing else has quite met hopes... until the Terra was announced. There is literally nothing else out there now or on the horizon that fits the bill for what I'm wanting...

Add in some red covers for the headlights and I'm sold!

I mean… they have that Mojito Green color which would make for a great “Hulk” edition.

The Captain America tire-cover is what kills it for me. It's really nice, until it becomes silly at that point.

    Bench or Bucket Seating Poll

I said in the other bench seat thread every truck I’ve had has had a bench seat, and I don’t intend to change that. I look at it as the ultimate versatility to have 6 seats available, and I use them surprisingly often.
