  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

For all the EV haters, septics, gas-4-life, “I don’t plug, I pump”, here you go. Nissan even built the diesels for the Scout IIs. So you can feel the connection. https://apple.news/Aod1QXqWcSJCzsD24ePrisw I am just kidding around before anyone gets upset.

    Off-topic stuff…

Glad to hear you’re safe. Is this a usual amount of storms this year? It seems to be. Or, maybe I’m just more aware now.

No, just a different insert. One that is flatter, smoother, and not a tie down. Just a relatively flat trim piece.

I know this was not a reply to me, but I still would not want them. That said, I do think that piece of trim should be bolt on so you could add them if you want.

I'm glad you like them. But I am with @R1TVT all the way on this one. If you actually need them that's great. But, I hope they are an option. I tend to judge when I see 99% urban use vehicles with snorkels, ladders, roof tents, jerry cans, etc. I would feel like that if I had hood tie downs...

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

I suppose. I hate to stereotype, but it attracts a certain crowd. There are countless other brands that are also a variation on the theme.

That is awesome. There is a circle K that I pass every day that is under construction/renovation. They took the roof off that covers the pumps. I wonder if they are doing something Ionna related. I hope so.

    Scout Color Poll #1

No, it is just an example of the little shapes used for paint samples. Although, it is a good color.

It’s optional. Unless you just want to have it.

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

There’s more to the story when you dig deeper. I see that someone else gave the details. There has been confirmation that anything Scout related gets greats clicks online. Anything negative is that much more. The factory is huge and complex. Boeing is here in Charleston and had all sorts of...

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

N I don’t think so. Mostly waiting at this point to see the production versions. I have kids ballet and tennis at the same time as well. So, breaking away for fun dad stuff takes a major backseat to whatever they have going on. Not blaming them…just my phase of life. But, who knows...

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

I am from Charleston. But, I don’t think I’ll make it. I was lucky enough to go to the reveal so I have seen them. I know the colors will be different. But, I really want to see the production models when those start coming around.
