  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Off-topic stuff…

I like the name Travelette https://www.jalopnik.com/2161098/first-ever-crew-cab-truck-international-harvester-travelette/

    Change of Heart?

The Line is more fluid and will be more likely based on what you want, if the first batch is 100% Traveler and 95% Harvester, then they’ll pull from those earliest, but reservations aren’t guaranteed to convert, whether that be canceling altogether or just wanting to wait for more options on...

    Lexus RZ chronicals-by my wife

First of all it’s great to hear that she seems to be enjoying the car. just to point out there’s still a brake pedal in every EV I know of. As for stopping without using it, it’s just stronger Regen that ends in a “hold”, and as you lift off the accelerator is your replacement for pressing on...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Unfortunately it’s more complicated, myQ can talk to Meross, which has an Apple home kit device that can be used in CarPlay as long you’re close by or you have an Apple home, with a home pod or Apple TV. Because I refuse to put a barely functional remote in my car I deal with, it also kind works...

    Gjeebs Scout Review

Yeah there was mention of it, but people will hear 500 Miles on harvester and think that's all there is, and from what I've heard in the video I could see people hearing "500 miles Total range" then followed by "350 BEV" and thing that means you'll get 300+ on all electric

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

CarPlay works very similarly, and honestly i really enjoy it, jut not the Apple part

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

My bolt is the first new vehicle I’ve had that doesn’t have homelink, it was recommended to get some 3M sticky pad and hid the remote under the center cubby area, I instead chose to buy a Apple home pod, myQ, and Meross kit. So I can use the iPhone and CarPlay to control the door, it works 98%...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

$3.99 here after dropping to $3.40 the day prior. It’s great timing as I drove 80 miles to borrow my father’s Colorado to bring home an electric lawnmower. I haven’t actively thought about gas prices in 2 years, now I’m just watching the needle with paranoia hoping I won’t need to buy gas for it

    Gjeebs Scout Review

Yikes, I’ll have to try and sit through this later, but in the first couple of minutes; praising Rear Charging port on an adventure vehicle/Truck. Claiming “comes with 37s”. And just more harvester focused. 🤷 I’ve gotten as far as “switches up here for off-road modes” I can’t tell if they just...

Please don't put the Harvester engine behind/below the rear axle

When I was interested in the Harvester, a lack of frunk would have been a deal breaker for me, my current BEV doesn’t have one, and that’s annoying enough, but I get past it for the price and size. I wouldn’t buy an electric full size truck without one at this point

Even that logo is a cheap imitation, it so annoying how these Chinese cars might be high tech and cheap because of where they’re made, but it says allot when they all look like if, every “Western Vehicle” were made up of of drag and drop design elements

TFL dumping on Scout in there latest video

TFL have lost a lot of what I used to enjoy from them, I’ll still put them on in the background for noise from time to time, but I can’t take them all that seriously, they complain about something, then praise it, then complain. Sorta like the BUZZ, they sold their long term tester early even...

    Headed up display with navigation.

It was stated by a scout team member in a video interview that HUD wasn’t planned to be on the table, nice as it would be, but it had to do with the line of sight you already have from the drivers position

Obviously, the current concept of vehicles that were able to see aren’t the final product, but if we’re going to use them as the baseline for what we know, don’t we have an image from the recent outing in Arizona showing that the hitch receiver might be a little lower?

    How about a Velcro-compatible headliner

I think this is a fun idea, but probably to specific. My father had the roof of the 77 loaded with stickers that had significance to him, from travel and memories, I do like to collect stickers and patches, but I like putting stickers on things that will be around “forever” like my suitcase, as...

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

$40k would be nice, but especially while we’re talking the launch vehicles it’s just not going to happen, maybe after all reservations are met and they can start offering lower spec models
