  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Modesto Scouts | Colton’s Scout Collection & Updates

I have to agree here but obviously safety is important. Dare I ask has anyone ever shown you how to properly set mirrors? I didn’t learn the correct way until I was almost 29 and once I did it was night and day. Those who taught me (including driver’s ed) were wrong-props to BMW driving school...

How did you find out about the new Scouts?

Love the idea and in another two years the headlights will grow on you. I’ve finally accepted them and think in person they are very nice

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

That’s why I started thinking about it. Also makes one question how or if the sensor would work for those planning to buy the carrier and try to manually remove it themselves

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

So last week we had mulch delivered and the less than competent driver dumped it halfway down our driveway rather than the turn around as instructed. Due to this I’ve had to back in all week which is fine, my cameras work great and the alignment lines make it possible for even a new driver to do...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

During daily commuting, albeit short, I don’t mind voice controls. Though I generally use it for phone calling on the few occasions I need to call someone while driving. I try to avoid that but sometimes it’s just a necessity

$2500 is about as high as I’d go that early on. Depends on the guarantee of how long build time would be

    Different logo spots

I go back and forth. Added them to side of our Bronco while we had it but not sure I want it on Scout. Initially I did but seeing how sleek and clean that side panel is makes me not want to add anything-hear’s hoping SM or Etsy sells something that can be added Now if there was a small circle...

I’m guessing newspaper strips and flour paste like they used to use in school to basically make paper mache

    20-24 mpg

Ouch. I forget how little mileage SUVs get. Here I am annoyed that my route to work for the past year and big hill don’t let me get above 44 mpg on the Accord. Older job the commute was a bit longer and this time of year and through summer I’d be seeing 48-52 mpg. But an SUV is a bit more...
