  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Where would you like to see the Traveler and Terra this year?

Welcome to the forum. Guess it depends what part of Montana. They certainly want a larger crowd and great coverage and if you in an area like Circle that’s just to remote but one of the bigger cities would make sense at some point. With their start up budgets I’m sure for now they have to be...

    Car Seat Anchor

I think more and more do and for those with younger kids (or grand kids) it would be great if Scouts were one of the included brands

Shopping for a “new” BEV while waiting for the Scout Traveler BEV.

Years ago my daughter’s coach did that in his Ford. Didn’t wear seat belt and didn’t want it chiming. He was emergency response in early life and decided to just take his chances. It certainly does the trick

Where would you like to see the Traveler and Terra this year?

Would be cool venue but that many people crowding Scouts would be crazy

MAN! Wish it were that shade of blue all the time. Love it when the color looks like that

    Minimizing complexity

Exactly my thought. In 15 years unless I’m running from police for frunk fitment issues I don’t think I’ll be built to handle offroading

    Minimizing complexity

Maybe in 10 years I’ll give off-roading consideration but with the upfront investment there isn’t a chance I’ll risk the damage. But for those that love it-go for it and hope it exceeds your every expectation

Shopping for a “new” BEV while waiting for the Scout Traveler BEV.

LMAO. What I was actually thinking was……. With a bone saw and proper motivation you can fit anyone into a frunk- I’m presuming! (He added, just in case there is law enforcement on this forum and they lack the history to understand my poor sense of humor and lack of filter). The other trick is...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Well good to know they really, really love their dealers 😀. Sounds like a lot of double speak

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Yes-for a Bronco it is quite a lot and with the numerous issues we had on our previous Bronco I’d be very gun shy but she’s a looker!

This could make me go back to a Bronco. Really nice and color seems very similar to Terra. Wonder if Bronco is worried about the traveler?

Wonder if they are transferable? I have a bunch of friends and family in NY that maybe can enter on my behalf 😀

    Colors

Welcome and thanks for posting. Purple’s my favorite color though would need to see it on the traveler. Hope you’ll still buy one quickly even if they don’t offer purple

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

It’s funny you mention the efficiency thing because I have played that game for over two years now in the Accord playing with things that impact the hybrid range. And my wife now plays the range game with the EV and over a month and a half in already now and she is maintaining 4.3 m/kwh. She...
