  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

And real clay poker chips with Scout branding! (ok - maybe I'm alone in this... but monthly Texas Hold'em can be fun!)

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Nope - mine was a Nissan and I was told they all were… Of course it was a dealer that told me that…

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I'm sure some folks will buy them - but I'm not a fan of the looks either...

What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

I guess I hadn't seen this thread... I'm a retired software engineer. I wrote code for machine controls (for CGI/Marposs), telephony/data (for Symplex Communications), and finally video encoding/transcodiing/decoding (for Motorola, 3Com, Pace, Time Warner, and Comcast). Oh, and a 2 yr. side...

Scout Terra Concept in Irmo, South Carolina April 19, 2026

5 hours for me (by car) and 6 if I take the scenic route via Motorcycle... But I would go! (wish there was a ferry from CA to Cleveland!)

    Off-topic stuff…

Sounds like you guys are prepared… Hopefully no injuries or worse in your area as a result of the storm. Midwestern weather can be really unpredictable at times.

I will look into those places and get back to you… I will DM you on this site.

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

My wife has been after me to get rid of my motorcycle since she stopped riding along - I've held her off for a long time now, so she might just bite on the idea of a convertible... :)

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

Love this idea! I could then talk my wife into coming along!

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I wonder if they could partner with Carvana with the trades... Maybe even some deliveries (like the special one your talking about)

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

Great idea - I would probably need a riding partner or two - doing it alone also bothers me as I age... My wife no longer hops on the back - we used to ride 2-up along side friends who also rode 2-up; miss those days...

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

It took 3 weeks to go up and over to Alaska and back - then it took about 2 months for my body to recover! (and that's when I was 55!) Now at 63 I've been doing shorter trips more frequently... Will be heading to Deal's Gap in May and then to the Wayne National Forest right before IH...
