  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Modesto Scouts | Colton’s Scout Collection & Updates

Apologies for starting this concern - I bought a CJ-5 in the 80s that had ‘friends’ in the back seat and your picture reminded me of that! The rear view mirror was also loose and would shift down with bumps and that’s how I discovered one of the little guys sitting in the middle of the rear...

    Lexus RZ chronicals-by my wife

Nice write up! It reminded me of when we got our S60 my wife didn’t want to use the’B’ shift selection (one pedal mode) because she thought it would disable the brake pedal. After she realized it did not - she loves that mode…

    Scouts towing capacity harvester upage?

We've seen this review and/or these statements before... As many have said the patent drawings are for reference and do not depict exactly what will end up in the production Scouts (other than placement).

Did they switch to a similar casting process as Tesla as part of this cost reduction - it was mentioned but didn't know this...

    AI In Scouts 2027

I think a couple of folks from this forum already have these and use them when putting bodies in the back (for measuring purposes only)... :)

Hard to imagine it wouldn’t be here - just too easy and many people already are familiar with this location.

I think it was already confirmed the spare won’t fit in the frunk…

As much as I like how the spare on the rear looks, I’m starting to think that if it’s not removable I’ll just carry the spare when I want to…. I doubt I’ll be off roading a 60k+ vehicle for quite a while and I can’t think of the last time I needed a spare tire…

    Gjeebs Scout Review

Actually you’re right - a fair amount of misinformation from his lack of knowledge on the Scouts… I should not have said it was a good watch - maybe a somewhat entertaining watch…
