  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

The Road to Scout Production - All the latest updates in one place...

That’s why I didn’t put one on my Wrangler. You see so many with the bracket and no light bar attached and one would assume it’s due to the noise.

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

I would love A pillar lights as an option. And having a choice between fog lights, running lights or a spotlight would be great.

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

I hadn’t even considered 2 tone. That would be amazing.

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

The Grenadier has a compartment on the spare tire mount on the back. That could be fun.

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

Themed charging cords would be fun. They should sell them now in Scout Supply. My only caveat with the Toyota ones. We got those added in with our Supra and they wouldn’t take them off. It’s a lot to pay for 3 cords. And you can’t pick what you need so you get cords you can’t use. If you are...

I love that red option on the Grenadier.

    Bench Seat vs Standard

The other question I have is lumbar support. Comfort is too important. Do we have any idea if the bench seat has adjustable lumbar support. Middle seat I wouldn’t expect but drivers side and passenger side adjustable lumbar support would be amazing in the bench seat. I’m hoping it’s at auto...

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

    Illinois here. Same. Can’t wait!

    Comparing preorders to Bronco sales

That's how I ended up with my Wrangler. Husband bought it, I slowly took it over and when we moved from California to Illinois I told him you know you get the 328i and I am taking the Wrangler right?!? He didn't last long with that 328i, traded it in on a Miata and then that went for his 22...

January 2025 Scout Production Center Construction Update

I think of it more like the pandacam at the Zoo, I just want to watch something fun. If watching the construction isnt't feasible then how about the new Scouts rolling off the line at the end and if the new owner is on the forum tagging them and posting the video of their Scout coming off the...

What are you driving until release?

We had an Xterra back in the day. Loved it. Nissan really needs to bring it back. Welcome to the forum.

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

It would be nice if they did something similar to BMW when you order a car and it has updates in your BMW app where your car is in the process and if we could get pictures of our Scout at the different stages that would be amazing!

There’s something to be said for older cars that have no option to have that happen ever.

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

When Rivian was first released, if I am remembering correctly, the reservations holders had been anticipating around $75. They were then told the trucks were going to cost upwards of $90 and so many reservation holders cancelled that the CEO apologized and said if they took their reservation...

    Removable Doors and Rear Window

Please dont make the doors removable. I never take the doors off my Wrangler and the way it’s designed the pin is metal and the hole it goes into is metal which is not a good combination in winter weather and now I can’t get 3 of the doors off. They are stuck. And the way they are painted in...
