  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

That Jeep pink they brought back last year was amazing. This year it’s the Willy special edition with Army green wheels that match the body. Still all in on yellow, even if they had pink.

It would be outrageously expensive but they could do like Porsche does and you could bring in whatever color you like and they match it.

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

And speaking of front license places. Please do not drill holes in the front bumper or put a license plate bracket on the front. I will run without a front plate as long as possible. The Supra is 2-1/2 and I have managed to avoid it so far. The plate is in the back of the car in case it’s...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I think that’s a great idea. Jeep does that with the special editions that have different trims etc. mine is a 2013 MOAB edition. It got the power dome hood, steel bumpers, MOAB vinyl stickers on either side of the hood and some other things to make it different that year. Then the next year...

    Optional Third Row

And I’m completely the opposite. Don’t want a 3rd row in the slightest. I swear is like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears trying to find the car that’s just right and Scout just has to do their best to make a quality vehicle that appeals to a wide variety of drivers.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

As long as the back seats are more Comfortable than the back seats of a Wrangler. My poor kids have been sitting back there and not complaining for years.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

It would be great if we could have back seats that recline some like the new 4Runners.

    Girl Scout Cookies

That’s a great idea. It doesn’t have to be officially affiliated with any group. One year when my son was about 12 we participated in the Young Eagles program. Not affiliated with Scouting at all. It’s private pilots who donate their time and planes and each kid got to go for about a 20...

Scout Motors Proactive Measures to Reduce Consumers' EV Auto Insurance?

This is the part I am not looking forward to. My Wrangler is 12 so the insurance is $60 a month. That’s practically nothing these days.

    Scout Color Poll #1

I like the copper but my first car, my Z28 and my first BMW were both a copper color. I have had green and that red/purple in BMWs. And I have had black and white cars. Never blue or yellow. I want something totally different than what I have had in the past.

    Scout Color Poll #1

I got excited. I thought this was a new color poll and then realized it's just a repost of the original. But I did change my mind. Still both yellows, but I switched from sky blue to the aqua marine blue. Yellow doesn't get many votes, but I really hope they make a yellow. Rivian had a...

Scout concepts on Jay Leno’s Garage

I can’t wait for all the videos to come out. Each one ends up being better than the last.
