  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Does Scout Motors Need A Challenge Coin Too?

For those that may not be familiar with Challenge Coins it is a tradition in the military. Below is a story that is pretty close to what I was told many years ago as a young Lieutenant . But today it is critical to always have your unit coin on you at all times, because if challenged and you are...

    Automatic Retractable Electric Running Boards

The option would be great. I dont like most fixed running boards as they seem to be more of a hinder than a help, I have long legs and I usually just step up/down from trucks without using them, then they only serve to make my pants legs dirty. But retractable ones come down lower and further...

    Paddle Shifters For Adjusting Regen

I disagree. I don't want to clutter up the IP with paddle shifters. This is a truck (or SUV), not a sports car. If they are going to offer multiple regent levels that should be a setting in a menu, most people will find what they like and leave it on that setting. I for one love one pedal...

Option to turn off center display

I saw the detox video yesterday, that seems perfect for what I was looking for. Seems like Scout is really listening to these requests!

Option to turn off center display

Yes the Tesla has a dark mode (I run in that as my default) but we have too many screens in life already, sometimes I just want to drive without that thing in my face.

"Rivian-like" order holders' into/ first drive

Agree. It would great to get an early hands on experience, especially if we are in the fence about an option or two

Option to turn off center display

Please allow us to turn off the center display when it is not needed. My Ram allows me to turn off the display when not needed, but my wife's Tesla is always on. I hate having her display always in front of me when I'm driving down the road at night or just when I want minimal stimulus. Thanks...
