  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

I had my Model Y delivered. God I’m lucky they even found it (hence its name is Waldo). It was pretty cool having to walk out in my jammies and receive my car. I had my own personal tour of the vehicle, how to get started and all. It was great. What I didn’t get was a factory tour, a lunch, a...

    Pets of Scout Motors

Kuma, a 1yr old stray my daughter found sitting under a car when he was days old. Evee, our one-eyed alarm clock. She’s around 12, has 10 teeth and of course, one eye. Rhona, who can look unkempt 2 minutes after brushing. Our gentle giant is 10.5 and afraid of her own shadow . . .

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

OKAY, based on the 3body option, I’d take option 3 for a price (within reason). When I received my Model Y, it was in my driveway with a rep to show me around. Although very nice and personal, I felt obligated to offer him coffee and breakfast. This time I want to be served, as selfish as that...

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

If I’m gonna do a factory pick up, I’d prefer to stay off property and be shuttled in. I think a one day excursion with a breakfast followed by a factory tour. Then culminating in the delivery/presentation of my scout (or however many others are there to pick up). That’s a start for me . . .

    What was your first job?

Ooooo, this is a great topic. I’m not going to bore y’all, but my first 2 “under-the-table” jobs we when I was 14/15 yrs old. Both turned out quite humorous. When I was 14, in Medford, Ma, my corner store hired me to help work the deli. They taught me how to use all the sharp objects one...

    A Gift From Scout Motors

OK, my picture is in the dictionary next to gullible. Just look. I went and checked my profile and my address is in there. Maybe I don’t qualify. Maybe I’m too new. Maybe it’s because I own that OTHER brand. Maybe I’m putting too much into this and Jamie is messing with me . . . What do I...

Well, it’s not a ball, but it is crystal & it is not the only thing we got (AND WE’RE STILL HERE). This will look amazing hanging from my rear view mirror. . . Jeanette got a set of port glasses, a vase, jewelry case and I’ve lost track of everything else . . . All Waterford.
