  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Motors - who are your competitors?

I hear ya and am not saying it's perfect but find it an interesting comp given that it's a new entrant to the market that's also an offroad-first vehicle. Yes it's an ICE (with plans for an EV) but they seem to be doing things a little differently so think it's worth keeping on the radar. Also...

Scout Motors - who are your competitors?

Several times I've mentioned the Ineos Grenadier and have not heard much, if anything, in response. From a competitive standpoint I'd think Scout Motors would want to watch this one very, very closely. Considering they are a new entrant to the vehicle market it will be interesting to see how...

Is there or should we create a Scout wave?

Yeah, not sure about the rest here, but I'm tired of Bronco owners waving to me thinking my Scout is a Bronco!

Top Five Accessories For The New Scout

Someone brought up the questions about the difference between "options" and "accessories" earlier. I am going to try to stick purely to accessories.... 1. roof rack(s) 2. cargo mats 3. modular, lockable storage options for when the top is off 4. air compressor 5. hi-lift jack (maybe one...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I agree with you, here @LastDayScout. It almost looks like a cross between an SUV and a minivan. I think Jeep has generally done a nice job with their styling and capability(ies). I do think Scout has to worry about what Jeep is doing and would not underestimate. They have an immense brand...

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

I hear your points, and they are good. I am just trying to think about this pragmatically from a new-launch POV. There was an unofficial paint color poll that came out on the forum a couple months ago. I actually surprised myself and voted for orange. It was mostly a nostalgia thing and a few...

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

I am in no means bashing your perspective, RebelliousPeasant, but think we need to consider what is going to sell. If Scout Motors had been around for a while and had the flexibility to experiment then the story may be different. They need to establish market presence and doing so with funky...

What kind of tech do you expect enabled in the car or interface?

On the topic of "what kind of tech do i expect".... I'd expect everything the vehicle is capable of. What companies like Mercedes, BMW and others are doing, in my subjective opinion, is sort of greedy and off-putting. If the motor is capable of N amount of horsepower, just give it to the...
