  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

Ford’s really marketing the “heritage" thing. Dropping the Heritage 2-door and the no 2-door on 60th edition is wild, that short wheelbase is the Bronco of old. 1st gen Broncos said FORD on the grille, not “Bronco”. Totally with @cyure, Scout’s designs and SM watches both get it: clean...

    The scout stake pockets

I saw this patent awhile back which I though would be nice for utility veichles. https://www.thedrive.com/news/ford-patents-built-in-pickup-bed-rack-with-stowaway-rails-and-it-sure-seems-handy

    March 14-15 Overland Expo Socal

I attend Overland East annually probably over the last ~5 years or so. I love this event, if Scout does attend and unable to showcase the two pre-production vehicles it could also serve as a great opportunity to meet potential vendors.

    Scout Color Poll #1

AI did a pretty good job going for a rugged look, a few things I like about this image are; 1. Grill 2. Redesigned "SCOUT" logo 3. Split coloring of the mirror caps One thing I would change is have the black A-pillar wrap around the top and rear to where the rear window meets the bed line.

    Scout Color Poll #1

@J Alynn I thought you would be on board as it has a sense of Turquoise. Yes, yes I know it's a Lambo, aside from that I thought it was an interesting color.... Does this fit your fancy?

Love it, your dog however seems unamused. 😅. I imagine this is the reaction many of us get when talking Scouts with our spouses.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Is this open air or a glass roof? I'm holding my expectations low but looks interesting. I like that it was rear climate control with captain seats which leads me to believe it's a 3rd row vehicle and definitely not a truck.

Want a Scout. Don't want the Drama!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I wanted to follow up because I didn’t see much detail behind your recommendations. Can you expand a bit on why you’d prefer Scout Motors to be sold through a dealer model? I’m also curious how you think a move to ICE vehicles would affect facility...

    Google Gemini AI Scout Images

Ha-yes! I gave up on trying to get the names from the orginal swatch card to match and of course the name/color combos didn't match-likely my prompt and AI don't see eye to eye.

Tried to match the 1978 color chart (swatch card) to the upcoming Traveler, Gemini didn't get all the color names/combos quite right but you get the idea....

    Snowstorm 2026

I've been waiting for a big storm as we rarely get >12" in one single storm. Just serviced my snowblower in November, all was well. I went to use it and womp, womp, the auger stopped working. I had such aspirations of being the neighborhood hero.
