  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    AC Vent Locations

I fully expect any 3 row SUV to come with vents for that row! I'm just hoping that with the traveler geared to be an off road adventure vehicle that it will offer vents for the rear cargo area for pets and car camping! Case for an automakers that missed a great opportunity to market themselves...

    AC Vent Locations

I'll await any news from Scout on future product offerings, I only hope that they offer a larger SUV shortly after the launch of the Terra and Traveler. The Terra chassis length would be the perfect size to drop a larger SUV body onto. I'd only want the larger SUV if I can't get vents in the...

    AC Vent Locations

Would love to hear feedback from @Jamie@ScoutMotors on how the air conditioning will be routed in the Traveler. Will there be the potential for A/C vents within the cargo area , such as in the quarter panel or within the headliner, or on the C Pillar that can be directed into the cargo area...

    Rear AC in the roof

I created a suggestion with a similar request for the rear cargo area in the traveler. I’ve got three large dogs and they go in the cargo area, not the rear seats. Would love to have overhead vents for the rear areas with the steel roof option.

    AC Vent Locations

For sure, having vents in the rear cargo area would be great for car camping as well.

AC Vent in Rear Cargo Area of the Traveler

Started a thread in the traveler section but thought it worth placing in the suggestion box section as well. AC vent placement is probably not high on most peoples priorities for a new vehicle but it's almost top of my list. My wife trains dogs for a living and we currently have three large...

AC vent placement is probably not high on most peoples priorities for a new vehicle but it's almost top of my list. My wife trains dogs for a living and we currently have three large dogs. I have a 4th gen Ford Expedition that we use for long trips and the rooftop vents come in cluthc for...
