  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Keep it simple. Swiss Army Knife simple.

Solar panels on the top surface would be useless when they remove the top. This group has gone over every imaginable option know to ever exist.

    Scout Motors New Teaser Video

I recently had to leave my home of 34 years to make way for the rising water of Hurricane Helene. In doing so, we went to my garage, to the second floor and watched the flood water come on and go out. During that time as the water was rising, we could hear numerous car alarms going off. Then...

    Scout Motors New Teaser Video

My point was to promote to all, male and female. Doors coming off would be a great vendor item down the road (later in time). Removable roof with funky rollbars or showbars maybe in time after the public shows interest.

    Scout Motors New Teaser Video

It's not that uncommon to see a SUV's driving around with the doors off and have a young lady at the helm. The culture is changing daily and you have to be ready. I'm not a promoter of the WOKE movement in any way, but there are changes.

    Navistar rebrands to International Motors

I think the station wagon gave way to the SUV. With Bronco, Blaser and others have mimicked the original Scout, somewhere in that mix the SUV became the buzzword.

Today's Jeep is only a Fiat. A Scout will always be a Scout.

    Navistar rebrands to International Motors

When IH Scout came out, SUV wasn't even a word. Scout came out and changed the recreational world. Then as evolution took place there came the soccer mom. This may have been the reason today, why we have SUV's.

With two doors and a removable top would get my vote even if I had to peddle the beast!

Well, maybe the hackers will put a pair of headers coming out of the hood.

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

I don't think IH put Scout names on current and existing trucks of the time. My thoughts were the Scout was to replace a horse. Jeep was the only 4-wheel at the time but was limited. Just my $0.02.5.....

If these guys thought International parts were expensive just wait until they go to a Caterpillar service department.
