  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Old vs new Scout Site?

Binder Planet was/is a huge IH forum. For years now that was the biggest community of Scout people. Scouts West was a second choice, until they revamped their forum.

    What Are You Driving Now?

I dislike the grills with vertical ribs, but honestly, the '76 grill is my favorite. Very nice sir.

    What Are You Driving Now?

Question as I haven't googled: Is this a ICE platform converted to EV?

    Model Names

Here's my thoughts on what everyone's said(had drill, it was a long week): If I were to name the models it would be as such: Regular 4 door: "Traveler" Truck version: "Terra" Trim levels will be: Base = nothing special Mid level: "Signature" Fully loaded: "Premium" Lifted, tougher, more off...

This is the inherent problem, this looks soo Bronco like. I DO enjoy the doors and the sails on the B pillar.

So what does everyone think of the first new Scout designs...

The key thing is this forum is official. The teaser images are official. However, anything posted by @mwmassie is their own work and not official. We all appreciate their work though, as it's fun as hell.

    Scout and Audi share platform?

I get what you're saying, but I'd really like to know the source for this article then: There are several things and thoughts that are troubling, based off what you've said previously. That Audi plans to build the Scout. That the US facility is scrapped. That Audi plans to build the Scout...

To those that have mentioned no rust on the new Scout....

I love this kind of thing. I wish more companies would show this kind of thing so as to alleviate some of the bitching from a minority of owners.

    New Old Blends

Jeep has something similar to this, the Sky One Touch. While it's fabric, my wife and I are not fans. Even though the top rolls back, it just feels... closed still. I'm much more intrigued by the clear hard panels by Clearlidz.

    Welcome and Introductions!

This bare bones want is a trend they've stated they're keeping track of. Welcome!

    Scout Design Team Feedback V1

The problem is that the Bronco and Scout were quite similar, design wise. I imagine this is why the Scout II was just a tiny bit bigger. That's the reason I like the II better though. Small enough for tight trail running, but big enough for a family and gear.

That stance is great. Plus the KO2s give it a very capable look.
