  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I second that. I was lucky because there was a good lull and because I had to wait for 45 minutes to get within 10’ because of an influencer I think Jamie and CP1 felt bad so they gave me about 70 seconds. The influencer had way more time and seeing the things he did I can understand why they...

You complain every time this subject comes up and I’m not sure why. If you aren’t excited enough to travel and look from 5 to 10 feet away maybe there just isn’t a way to make you happy right now. Otherwise, what is your solution to solve the situation. They make 1,000’s of honda accords but...

Request is as many as you can and any details that are new or details we haven’t seen a lot of. Like what is the stitching pattern on the Terra and if new interior get shots of every detail possible, start big picture then zoom to areas then zoom in to the details

    Spare Tire, Backpack, or Bald?

Even if you pull up 2-3 feet that gives you the load room and if lucky your tire will sit in line with the OH door signal so nobody accidentally hits garage door opener while you are under it. I’ve done that in a previous house/vehicle. Blocking the sensor is just a little extra security

Is there anything SM could offer to get you to switch from EREV to BEV?

I think realistically 2030 at best will be the regular, early adoption in any/all EVs and likely companies like Mercedes and BMW who can afford to absorb/demand the premium price. On everyday EV’s I’d guess 2032-2035 at least for the U.S. vehicles. China may figure it out but I won’t be an early...

Poll: Would you use a Scout configurator tool if pricing and details are not finalized yet?

Haven’t even built the first factory production vehicles so not easy to see a visualizer without the final production vehicles

Completely sore loser interest and giving NADA another platform to position to line politicians pockets

The irony with a render like this is common pick up buyers won’t buy this. The bed is nearly useless. Honda Ridgeline is more practical and established
