  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Stellantis is a big factor but I know lots of people with various jeeps -old and new and they constantly have issues so for me I’d never buy one

    FB find of the day

Great list. May I add back of rear seats to inside edge of hatch to get an idea of storage depth with seats up? Thanks And if you could drag a CPR body, say large child, small adult size to gauge frunk capacity that would be great (Should let this sit for a day for self edit note)

    FB find of the day

I need to learn to type responses then let them sit a day or two and self edit before I hit send 🤣

    Brake pedal behavior: Preference?

    Bummer 🤣

Start Up and Shut Down Sound

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. They spent a lot of time recording nature sounds and old scout sounds so there will be some variations but maybe not exactly what you noted. If you check under stories there’s an article about it as well as a YouTube video

    R2 Launch Watch

    Meh!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I wonder if aftermarket jump seats will come along. I’m pretty sure to date the responses to any rear third row seating seem to be a no. I wonder if crash test ratings prevent jump seats and wonder if aftermarket can offer that or if they need to meet crash test ratings as well. Morally I’m sure...

    Rear Window

I’d love to see that happen but I’m pretty sure Jamie said glass will be fixed in the upper hatch. But would be a great feature. Nice for airflow too

    Brake pedal behavior: Preference?

I do the same with my paddle shifters. Hence the reason I’d enjoy those on the Scouts but not a must have. Especially nice when someone is riding my a$$ and I want to slow really quickly without brake lights

    Battleborn Binders (Reno Nevada)

Yeah-my memories are from when I was late teen-early 20’s. Guessing not as forgiving now that I’m considerably older 🤣

Guess they forget Scout was the true creator of modern day SUV’s. And how capable does a Jeep have to become if it still breaks constantly. Maybe they should double down on their build quality and make that their focus

That’s impossible, all computers weren’t designed to turn to 3000 so the whole internet will cease to exist at that point. As a scientist you should know these things 🤣

    Wheel size options

I agree 100% and like you I’m tired of carrier all the way

    Front Trunk Bench Seat

That sounds like a new sport waiting to happen. Maybe horses or smaller animals that run but Rhinos seems a bit difficult
